looking like probably tomorrow for harvest on White Widow.
About 20% amber trichomes about 70% red hairs.

I harvested about the smallest bud that is above the SCROG about 2 hours ago.
Weighed 22gr manicured and wet.
So probably about 4.5 to 5gr dried and cured.

Its the small little bud in bottom right corner circled in red is one I harvested just to check it out.

Ended up with 902gr (32.2oz) WET weight of just nicely manicured bud.
1.96oz of very sticky gooey sugar leaf which I decarboxylated (20gr dry) and added to a pint of Everclear to make tincture.
So should get somewhere near 8+oz after dried and cured for just the White Widow.

The OG Kush looks like another week or two before harvest which is good because I have no place to hang them.

The final tally for White Widow, first grow, organic soil in 7-gal fabric pots, 600+W LEDs. 7 weeks 3 days for Veg, 7 weeks 2 days for flower.
about 10-20% amber trichomes, 75-90% red hairs.
Dried at between 70-74 degrees and between 45 to 55% humidity for 5 days. They felt pretty dry but very sticky. The only way I could handle them was using chopstix even then it was a sticky mess and I scraped a nice ball of chopstixhash off when I was done.

Starting wet weight was 902gr. 32.2oz of mostly manicured bud, still a few stems.
Final dry (about 65% RH) weight is 216gr of 100% pure manicured bud virtually no stem, so about a 79.2% weight loss.
So did not quite make my hoped for 8oz but very close.
Got 7oz and 20gr which is about 7.71oz of 100% sticky bud.

Also got 20gr dry weight of VERY sticky sugar leaf which I decarboxylated and then added to about a pint of Everclear for the past 5 days shaking several times a day.
Also got 5oz of leaf to add to smoothies.

All in all, I am very happy with my first half of my first grow.
Hopefully, the OG Kush will do as well.

insane first grow bro.

insane first grow bro.

Thanks, yeah still haven't beaten 19 oz since then. Usually end up with about 16 oz.
I got a feeling that I am wasting my time with my current grow though.
Autoflowers seem too hit and miss, you might get 1/2 oz or 9 oz of a plant.
Never tried autos before.

I'm doing autos for the first time now with my widow grow. I've got four babies that sprouted yesterday coming in too. They're autos also. Figured it would be easier to increase the amount of plants i'm trying to learn with, in the short amount of time I have to grow this season.

That appears to be the best use for autos, if you have a good size grow space and can grow about a dozen of them.
And just keep replanting them perpetually

I have such a small space that 4 is going to be tight.
I may end up just ripping them out of the ground and feed them to the worms in a couple weeks if they look like they aren't going to produce much of anything.

Hey nunya , just wanted to say hi , hope you don’t mind me tagging along, knowledge is gold , maybe we could help each other out with a few things, I am relitcky new to growing Cannabis , but have grown things my whole life, and Cannabis outdoors but now i am on my second indoor run , before I planted indoor I did about 9 months of extensive research of everything I wanted to know about growing , so I am still mastering the art of optimizing growth with indoor lights . Anyway can’t wait to dig in and read what you got .
Cheers

Fantastic cuz. Looks like you got some fantastic nugz for the buzz.
:Rasta:
Thanks MH, yes I did, I was smoking on this batch for a year and a half before it was all gone.
And the White Widow cured for 18 months was wonderful, very sticky to the end, and smooth as silk.
Think my current grow is like 7th since this one and the 100% organic no-till is even better, the smell and flavor of the Living Organic Soil is as good as it gets.

Damn @Nunyabiz 19oz off your first grow? Great quality too. That's gnarly :headbanger: I would of loved to follow your current grow in a journal.

There's really very little to "journal" growing my current way though
I love to see what people are feeding their plants and all the different techniques and what not, but it's all about watching the plants grow :ganjamon:
