Short plants

Hi guys I have question about short plants I made lst/topping (same like last time but I dimmer my light to higher power on 12/12 so they didn't stretch that much but I think I overdone it) I wonder if they are that much shorter (last time they been about 5"-8" taller same strains) it will affect any yield? All of them show sex

Why did you flip to 12/12 so soon? They’re really small for bloom right now.
Stretch won’t start for about two weeks after flip.

One of the advantages of photo period Plants is you can control the height (somewhat) by when you trigger flowering. I would agree you might of jumped the gun a little on the flip.

I am always flipping at 28~days of veg they had topping and hard lst usually they strech already like 2 days after I change to 12/12 that's plants from last grow exactly the same strain 2 days after flippin to 12/12

If they are at 2 days of 12/12, seems like you have a couple options. 1. Wait a few more days and see what they do. (All plants are a little different, even when sold as the same strain). 2. Switch back to veg 16/8.(will slow them down a bit but they will go back to growing again).

Try and get hold of some 50x50mm mesh and keep tucking the branches, I work with low canopy plants not just for the canopy height but I've proven twice now this is the best route for yield, quality and consistant bud size.

If your only in two days I would go back and reveg them nd try find some of that size mesh, honestly you wont regret adding an extra two weeks on top could give you a good 50% more yield.

If you can, try and add an irrigation setup and you can get them even lower.

Nah the actual ones are already 11 days them what I show on the bottom was 2 days and you already could see massive difference with stretch

Oh.. I always run veg for at least 2 months. I like big plants though. Bigger the root system, bigger the buds.

Same I plan on vegging for 8 weeks or more the extra time really pays off.

"More roots = more fruits" is what I've always heard for all plants, I like at least a 2 month veg

I wanted to try scrog always but I never can't be arse to do it they selling actually now in my garden shop 50x50mm mesh I might buy the pipes and try do one

That's looking cool af how long did you veg and what tent size? Perfectly filled screen I am doing 4plants in 2x2 but short veg but I see in us it's more popular to have less plants in bigger areas I wish it would be legal where I am. I might try do some tommorow for fun anyway I am sitting at home now all the time with that Corona..
Btw that's my nugs last grow with 26 day veg I am yielding around 1.3g/w with 4 plants in 2x2

That was a 90day Veg, 5x7’ SCROG in a 5.5x8x8’ room I built. Ended up getting mites so I had to pull SCROG.

This is my current. Back left is the one in the picture. Darkstar Kush. Still have 2 more coming down this weekend.

Definitely a lot different then a solid room, but it gets the job done. It was a pain in the ass getting the temp/RH down. I’m in CO so we have low humidity. Sucks for vegging.
