Uh-oh. I’m afraid that “squirt” is budding....

Is this what flowering looks like? This plant is still on 18/6 and it’s supposed to be photo period. Wtf. Is it budding? If it is then fml! its not ready for budding!

yup she is :thumb: must be an auto

autoflowers have their own set of mind and the light cycle does not take factor. I've also never growned auto plants so im not too sure. However, i think leaving it on 18/6 would be fine as the buds will get more light. not sure tho, @Pennywise

I got some Bruce Banner #3's I found out were auto's after the fact...I got a boy and a girl. I had already took cuttings, ended up with a GIANT girl that took forever. She lived in 18/6 but eventually I moved her to the 12/12 room because she was so huge and was taking so long. The three female cuttings grew into pretty sizeable little plants themselves, probably 2 feet tall in half gallon pots, must have got close to 2 ounces a plant off those! The male I pulled early, but his cutting even kept growing (only got maybe 6 inches tall), sprouted a bunch of ball sacks in my clone tent right while the big girl was starting to bud, so I polinated a arm...I think I got about 9 ounces total from mom and the 3 baby plants. The mom was all orange hairs, kinda screwy from me messing around with the lights, but the baby bud is premo shit!

Oh good, so I can stop acting like the little Zoloft bouncy ball guy. Cool!
What strain looks like its the auto? I need to find some good maui wowie seeds, autos of that would be awesome. When I was a young I sold nothing but wowie for like 4 years straight because my plug just kept growing it

Yes I run autos 18/6 for the full cycle.
Ok good. Hopefully it’ll finish before my 2 photos go 12/12.
Oh, yeah. The soil monitor was $30. Pretty much everything can be found on amazon except seeds.

I also wanted to thank “OldSmokey,” and the other Canadian guy for the advice on dumping the soil and getting a specific growing medium, not just top soil. Especially not the crap I got. Glad I joined the site and learned before the little tricks were too hard to move.

im not sure of the strain yet, I accidentally mixed up the 3 seeds when I popped them. I have 4 seeds left of each strain. So I will definitely pop them on separate paper towels next go around.

any idea on how to identify the strains by characteristic? Is that even possible?

@oldsmokey I assume the praying hands is my answer to “is it possible?”
And that gave me a good chuckle!

Hey Krunkle, the fun is just starting, you're gonna enjoy watching the plants reach for the sky. Unless you keep a log, I don't know how to tell one seed from another. Comparing the finished plants to known photographs of the suspect strain might help. Most vendors post pictures of the finishing flowers. Although seeds may look different, after planted, I don't know!
