TimHomeGrow Fastbuds Bluedreamatic Auto In Soil

Thanks....first time ha. Do I loosen or tighten as it grows ...or keep them as is?
You may eventually have to do some adjustments, just make sure the plant can freely grow around where you have it wired. It doesn't need to be tight but secure enough to hold it down. I use a hook like yours, rather than wrap it around.
I can't remember who showed me on here (quadsquad thread has good stuff) but wiring the tips down too low will mess with the hormones in the plant. Yours look good, they have the right angle and are above where they start at the stalk.

The girls have done well with my bondage, I did need to tighten some restraints ....they are strong girls ;)

They handled the 4g/gal of MC, may go to 4.5 or straight to 5....not sure yet. I see pistils. Over 1.5gals for all three...they are thirsty and taking everything very well.

I did see this strange "growth". I say growth because maybe it's one of my perlite balls? It did seem organic though. What is this?

It's not perlite. I don't recognize it. If it's the only one, I would just flush it and just keep an eye out for any creepy crawly things. I don't see any signs of toxicity in your plants, but I can tell you that you are giving a bit more megacrop than I am in comparison to their age and size. Check out the latest posts in my grow. My amnesia plant is a 4 foot tall monster and getting 5g/gallon. My OG kush is a bit younger and shorter than that, but is pretty dense and is getting 4g/gal. Proceed with caution.

I lowered my LED to 19" above the canopy and the Lumens increase from 25k to 31k. I'm thinking this is a good idea based on seeing pistils?

Wish I could find that Lumen chart I saw here once, @13goody13 or anyone have it?

Too soon for the second light I believe

I have a Lux chart I go by, it’s helped a lot!

Would you consider the first pistils as "bloom" or wait until you see actual buds?
It’s preflower until you see actual flowers. It’s an important time to have your light perfect though, because the plant is making bud sites for the future.

That's why I lowered it and increase the lums at canopy to 31k. If it takes it well I may increase to 38-40k in a few days.

As always, thank you sir!

Day 31

I think I'm giving a tad too much MC (4g/gal) as leaves a bit shiny, tips pointed down and dark, and bright new growth. Or perhaps watering too frequently? Pots feel dry when lifted when watering.

Overall not bad! They took the topping and training like it didn't even happen ha.

Interesting that one main branch seems to have split into two colas? I didn't mess with this branch other than tie it down.

Day 32

They girls are looking better as they dry out and growing. I think I'm over watering a tad and that is causing a bit too much nute build up? Tomorrow I'll water with 3.75g/gal MC and see what happens. Don't want to go backwards much, if at all, but don't want to burn them either.

Also got my new seed delivery yesterday for my photo grow ;). I tried Majin Buu reg seeds last grow and both were male but the plants looked insane!!! I reached out to the breeder was was able to get some feminized seeds and I'm stoked! I'm no expert at lineage, but this one just sounds really cool with some Afghan, Columbia and India genes.

Also got some G13 Haze from Barney's Farms and three bonus Girl Scout Cookie autos ;)

Started the train on the top node after the topping and seem to have most of the colas fairly uniform in height. This should confuse the plant to the apical cola right? Ha.

I have no idea if I'm doing it right but they seem to look good. Tucked some fan leaves too and I can see all those beautiful soon to be bud sites :)

Day 33

Still seeing some over watering signs. Pots were air light today when water and leaves just starting to droop. I have 30% perlite and fabric pots, not sure how I could still be over watering.

Also seeing some yellow on some leaf tips of new growth and edge tips on older growth. Not much...but a few leaves. Backed the MC crop down a tad ...from 4 to 3.75g and feed with a solid 15% runoff to see if that works. Don't want this minor issue to turn into a big issue ;)

smoked some one month cure from the first grow too....yummy

All looking good, they are building a great bud foundation.
Thanks! Still off my game with watering and nutes....but not too bad.

Debating on adding my second light. I have a 220w led from wall in. 32"x32" tent. The second light raised the temp inside to 79-81, so not sure if it's worth it or not.

Day 34 and things seem to be humming along nicely. I backed up the MC to 3.75g and the dark shiny leaf tips have improved and the yellow burn on new growth tips hasn't spread.

However ..wonder if I may be under fertilizing now. A few leaves, top right plant against wall, seem to be getting lighter in the veins when in the tent ...but look fine out of the tent.

Ain't easy being colorblind haha

Yes on breaking apical dominance, now she has 8 sites of equal value or whatever not just 1 main. Yes sir keep her limbs & canopy as even as possible. Those girls are strapped and ready! Wow new genetics too... that's the ticket!

The 79 to 81 is not bad. I ran one grow at 83 to 85 and started getting canoe leaves the plant did ok but was better after I backed down to 81 to 83 degrees. That is about the temp limit here for me. As you know you can run hotter temps if you run CO2 but that’s a bit expensive.

My last grow had some bad foxtailing and very loose and airy buds. Granted I had lots of issues from bad soil, to over feeding/watering, and a million other things. But I'm wondering if that high temp was also the culprit? That's the only think keeping me from turning in that second light haha
