    Re: Volks Grow

The big ones are Super Silver Haze, and are by far the largest plants I have grown (yet). I need a higher ceiling, a greenhouse would be even better, but for now, I deal with what I've got. Shedding light on plants of those size can be difficult, and as Propa Gator noted, they are rather unruly, but they make for quite the spectacle. When I've shown friends my setup, they don't see the giants for a minute, busy looking at all the plants about knee level. Then you hear the usual "Holy sh*t, I didn't even see those!". It's always good for a chuckle. The SSH were free seeds that came with a purchase, I had no idea I was growing Jacks beanstock. Ah, but it is a pleasant surprise... I think they will be ready around the same time as the VG, 3-4 weeks. The buds are very airy right now, and with less than optimum light, I don't think they'll get very dense, but I know they'll taste sweet as candy. The price was right regardless.

I had bb cheese that did that, drove me nuts keeping it from the lights. A beautiful garden you have indeed.
That volks machine is very appealing. I hope to see it brimming with bud soon.

Some people really can't see the forest for the trees, I guess.

Super Silver Haze as a freebie, huh? Whoodathunkit. Excellent strain.

Someone's showing their age; I had one of those

Must have been an early inspiration for the LED panel

CMX, when I see buds pointing in any ol' direction, I'm no longer suprized or disoriented. You wheel men are mainsteaming kink! Fuzzy little whatsys in there, looking productive. They've stayed compact enough for me to imagine a full load of 80. I'm anxious to learn ave. weight of each. Are you running the full kw light, or are you still throttled back a bit?

The variety I have in the VG is pretty dense, I'm guessing that my runts will produce 1 or 2 grams each, while I expect the larger sites to produce at least 14 grams. I can see a full load in the very near future, probably 3-4 weeks down the road. I'm still weeding out males and waiting for mothers to get big enough to donate. I started running the light at full power about day 3.

    Re: Volks Grow

I put fresh nutes in yesterday and am using my finishing additives: Bloom Final, and A.N. Overdrive, along with my usual base nutes. I've dropped the ppm to 1200ppm and will only go to 800 ppm next week, with the final week being Final Phase and pure water. It's so close I can almost taste it. Though resin production has been a bit slow, I fully expect to see a lot of action these next few weeks.
