I too have been in similar situation and i was busted and caught twice through vindictive bastards. People should mind their own business. I am super paranoid about anyone knowing anything about me now as i love growing so much, couldnt bare to be back in prison for it again. I just have to keep everything away from me and travel to my grows which is frustrating cos i cant always be there to keep an eye on the progress. But it is a compromise i have to make. i hope u can work something out.....

I too wish bpn was more available. i did email to see about shipping to uk but i cant afford to pay for product and shipping at the mo. shame, maybe if i ever get a wage increase..... the feeds i use at the mo are ok but i get them donated so saves me a fortune. Hope u can get some here in th uk soon bpn.

Canon 5D + 24-70mm L lens. Use that with Photoshop CS5 for graphic display. Still need a macro lens.

Nice! In case anyone is wondering, the 5D has a full size sensor...so the 24-70 2.8L is actually a wide angle zoom lens on that camera. Adding a macro lens would be sweet, but don't forget a ring light! Not that it looks like you need advice when it comes to photography...

I think a 60D will be in my future this year!

Right now I'm trying to figure out what to do on this situation.

I'm forced to shut down one of my grow site. My ex showed up today and say they can smell it from outside. Keep in mind that we do not get along and I have not seen this person for a really long time. This person had hurt me emotionally and financially when we were together. I do my best to keep things civil. Not sure what was the real reason this person came back in my zone, but they said visiting someone in town thought to drop by for old time sake.

We lived together before we did have a small grow. So they know the smell. I continue to deny deny deny and say it was probably coming from a bag of dro I just got. To me the ex is making it up (calling bluffs) to make me spill the truth. Why I think that? Because my odor control is brand new and working great. Also they want something to use against me.

For some reason I don't think the ex bought that they knew how much I love growing. Anyway, I feel that this person will use this to get back at me because I don't let this person back into my life. Drama is what I don't like, not even on TV just waste of time.

I'm forced to shut down the operation and have to find another place to start the perpetual all over again. Not sure how much time I have before they calls the police to check out the house. Maybe they will maybe they won't. Cannot get rid of everything that fast. My plan is to be gone by the end of March if I decided to keep on growing but in a new location. Will have to rent since I can't buy a second house atm. That if I can find one that the owner will not come by during my stay for any reason. This will blow my cover. Also not looking into apartments they tent to come in anytime for maintenance work.

Looks like life threw me a hard ball and I'm not even into sports. Time to make a few swings.

Just in case you don't hear from me at lease a week it means I just got thrown into unjust law system and is behind bars. Might be in hospital depends if I get my ass kick by the cops while they raid the place, to them I'm a criminal, who knows.

It is very upsetting I just got everything going nicely and now have to start from scratch. Making the transition is challenging, starting over is not.

What would you do?

I learned long ago that exes (is that how you spell that?) Leave nothing but pain and misery when they come back in to your life. Sounds like yours might be particularly spiteful!

Not sure what the laws are there regarding a legit grow and inspections, but the police won't have enough for a warrant based solely on the statement of an ex. They might show up and start asking questions trying to get you to say something that would incriminate you, or see something that gives them probable cause while they are talking to you. I would say don't let any LEO in without a warrant! I wouldn't even talk to them, If they have enough PC to make an arrest they will...Just remember "anything you say can, and will, be used against you"!!!

I don't have much to add that hasn't been already said but I definitely feel your pain and paranoia. Being in an unfreindly state has me looking over my shoulder all the time is not fun. I love to grow, but due to heat issues in the garage, I have to quit growing in late April.

Someone local got served papers to appear on something unrelated to growing and the cop smelled it. In 20 mintues he was back with a dog and uncovered a 500 plant Hydro operation. He had all the filters and but it was his dry room where the stink came from.

Scares the shit out of me as my dry closet has no filtration either.

I have read to many stories about legal growers with med cards getting busted and still going through the system, legal or not be wary! We have members here legal growers, 2 years down the line still going through the criminal system.
