420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By BoBrown14

11 days after flip to flower

Plants are just getting pre-flowers.

Inna another few days I'll give them some more fish hydrolysate for some extra N and Ca.

Keppin em green.

Ah just playing catch up bud :thumb:

I do believe this is the first auto pot system I've seen used for growing our favourite herb & I must admit the concept of this system doe's sound interesting.

You have gone to great lengths to achieve your desired grow with current gear so a big :yahoo: dialed in, I think that is what they call it.

:green_heart:

Thank you for the kind words @Fuzzy Duck priciate it.

I have 2 A/P setups one is the smaller 4 gal which I'm using here and another setup with the 7.5gal pots for larger flowering plants.

I just supplemented the GSC ladies with some Fish Hydrolysate at 1tbs/gal. Gave each plant about a cup full of the mix.

Likely I will need to supplement a few more times even with the GeoFlora flower I'm using.

Smaller pots in organic soil is not optimal for large plants.

These girls are getting nice size even inna 4gal pot so I'm thinking my soil is going to get gassed out going down the stretch.

21 days after flip.

Gave each girl another 3/4 cup of geoflora bloom at the 2 week mark.

So far just chugging along. A little on the yellow side. Gonna do a kelp tea....

Wassup Woody??

Since nys is open for biz we went to a music festival. Yay us.

Update time. Went away for the weekend and came home to flowers.

Getting some lower yellowing. As plants start flowering the mobilize Nitrogen and others nutrients from older (lower) fan leaves. Some cultivars do it more than others. I don't pay too much mind to it.

I did top water with some fish emulsion and water tonight to help them along. It's actually more efficient for the plant to move nutrients from lower fan leaves than convert it to soluble nutrient and bring it up from the soil.

Here's the crew with extra close up of flowers.

Starting with GSC #5 - #1 and group shot.

No topping and I didn't even de-foil the lowers. I like to run new strains naturally to see how they grow. Take cuts and keep the keepers and start adjusting/training with the clones.

That one yellowish one looks hungry,, Me,, if ya have alittle blood meal in a tea overnight, and then top dress with the solids left behind. Or work in a little bit of coffee grounds. Every plant is different to a degree......

Fish crap should work well. I'm pretty sure most of it's goodies are instant release. As is the blood meal.

Yeah they all hungry. I'm in 4gal containers its gonna be an uphill battle.

I've been top dressing GeoFlora and fish goop.
I never cleaned up the under growth. The plants seem to be doing it for me.

Anyways here's some flower pics

Drive-by my friend;;;

I noticed the same thing.. They are hungry MF'ers.

How do you combat the steady loss of energy in the soil?

Good question @ChefDGreen.

I usually dont grow in small containers. These are 4 gal pots. I can grow and flower in them but the plants need extra energy down the stretch.

I've been using the Geoflora organic top dress along with kelp tea and some fish hydrolysate and some liquid enzymes I made a batch of.

Speaking of Geoflora, last week I added a 2nd round of flower mix top dress and watered in.

I'm still getting a little bit of yellowing down low but it's nothing I'm gonna worry about.

Here's some pics of the ladies.
5 weeks into flowering.

This is #5 down to #1 then group shot.

We took a trip to Canada for 8 days.

Grow is automated so nothing to worry about. Came home and it's time to chop at 60 days in flower tomorrow.

Weed had a crap ton of rain. The RH in the lower level grow room was at 75% rh when we got home.

The rh when we left was 45% rh. At least there wasnt a flood or something.

One of the plants got botrytis right on the top of the main stem. I tried to cut it out but oopsie missed and cut the top off. Oh well not going to be a problem what's good will be testers. Yay

Here they are. I'm calling it done gonna chop drop wash n hang asap either tomorrow or Tuesday.
GSC #1 thru GSC #5 then group shot.

GSC #1 had the mold. I removed it after the photo was taken.

I sprayed my whole grow with Wetable Sulfur and will bud wash.
