Decided to cut the random plant that was hermied today, was close enough to done and wanted to give the other plants more room. On top of that the roommate is gone and figured with the other plants needing another 2-4 weeks I needed to do it. As far as yield I am dissapointed even though its basically just a bonus plant.

Plan on dry trimming so as pointless as it is I weighed the main colas with a bunch of stems and leaves: 355 grams
I am trying to be conservative on what the dry yield will be so I am assuming I will lose 85% of that once stems and junk are trimmed.

So here is my issue, what did you guys expect? I dont have a dedicated drying room, as explained earlier it would have come to this at some point regardless. I know its supposed to be done in darkness but I can't do it any other way right now, so I am drying the plants in the grow room and it does have some ambient light on it but my humidity is 30% and I have great airflow so hopefully no mold. I'm sure I will lose some potency but the dragons are the plants I have for that.

Drying is done and I trimmed the plant down last night. How close do you guys trim? I hit them once more after the pic to get more leaves and stems off and I guess it's good enough for me, I personally don't mind smoking what's left of sugar leaves.

Dry yield: 64 grams - curing and sweating so I'm sure I will lose some more.

4 more days until I start week 9 on the dragons. They appear to be 80% cloudy with little to no Amber as of yet. It's going to be my 2nd week of flushing and starting to see some color loss in the fans.

2 of the plants are dramatically larger and have fuller cola's - similar smells and looks all together. The other plant is a bit smaller with odd almost hourglass looking colas. They smell like they have been soaked in gas/diesel to the point where it burns my nose, not sure if I should be happy about that more not but I'm thinking good and wanna reveg the plant afterwards for some cuts.

Going on my second week of flushing the dragons, in 2 days I will be 8 weeks in. The plant is pushing out new pistils and still growing, hopefully I didn't flush to early, but plenty of dark green leaves left so hopefully it has the energy it needs to finish.

Going to give the plants 7 more days until I chop I think. They are roughly 90% cloudy,5% clear and Amber.

Debating if I wanna give them 2 days of darkness. They will have had no nutrients in 3 weeks total but still have some very dark leaves that will hopefully be used up in the following week.

Another little update is I was playing with a branch trying to tie it down a tiny bit more and snapped it, so that's drying >.>.

The pics are of the broken brand any my other plant, the best looking one imo.

Thank you very much stage! I think I did good for my second grow, I wanna mix it up and do a tough strain for my next one.

I hit day 60 today and honestly I wanna cut them down so I have enough time to dry and get my cure done (done enough for me and my friends) before Christmas. I still have some clear trichomes and know I shouldn't though.

Do you think a few days could have that much effect on the potency? It's already pretty strong shit...

Well the time has arrived, after just over 9 weeks I have decided to chop my plants. I am VERY happy with my results which I can 100% attribute to the advice from you guys and this forum.

I went from going some very embarrassing plants that didn't smoke well and ended up getting stolen by some poor soul, to growing what I see as decent plants. My yields have went up as much as 400% on some plants when compared to my first. Having said that, I am just getting started and can't wait to see what the next grow brings as I get more and more aspects dialed in.

This will be my last grow for a little bit however, until I get a new apartment have some privacy. Renting your TINY 2 bedroom out to someone and having them live 5 feet from you across the hall is not conductive to growing haha. I am going to try to find a new apartment with a walk in closet and then just go for it.

What's the density and smell like right now?

Thanks buddy! It's actually really dense bud, besides the crowning on the tops. The one main cola if you look in the upside down picture(lol) is 140g, which I think is pretty decent.

2 of the plants have a citrus-y almost piney smell while the other plant which is the smallest of the 3 smells like paint thinner and a hint of citrus. I made sure so hang them separately so if it ends up being a much stronger pheno I can just reveg and take some cuts from it.

Plants have been drying, I decided to cut some of the colas up to make them dry a little quicker. I'm finding a lot of leaves that are moist on the center and even on the outsides turning a dark brown color.

Do you think I'm dealing with mold (please kill me if so) or just decaying plant matter?

Tent has been at 40% rh at 70 degrees since the beginning.

Going on 6 days. Ended up just turning my small fan on high and letting them get a bunch of air flow on them to be safe, rather have harass smoke than mold/rot issues.

Not really seeing any now, I took out a few grams of the suspected stuff and am letting them sit in a jar conducive to mold to see if it grows into something more visible. As of yet it doesn't look too bad, so if it is mold and takes that long to spread on wet bud, my dry stuff should be okay.

Btw, dry weight came to just over 15 ounces for the 4 plants combined. Equaled out to 0.7/GPW so I think that's great!
