Yes, I believe the LEDs with the HPS is worth it. I am no lighting expert, but there may be a point where extra lighting is not going to do much, but I think most grows on the scale seen here will never reach that point. As long as you can deal with the heat the lights put off, throw them in there. As long as you are maintaining proper distance I can't think of any reason not to run them.

Getting very impatient at this point like always, cant wait for the buds to start developing.decided on setting my goal, I don't really know what to expect but my goal would be to hit 10-12 ounces dry weight, achieveable?

Starting to see some more pistils and think they are doing good for the first week in flower, also haven't seen anymore balls on the plant. Only issue I am running into is that my plants are using a lot more water than my others and are running bone dry every 3 days, checked them today and the larger plants were drooping and lower leaves were drying up. My 3x3 tent is filling right up.

@hockey I plan on it here in a few weeks, only have one tent here at the moment. Gonna pop one of those and maybe a incredible bulk auto or 2 and see what happens. I'm interested in seeing them too!

BPO, no smell is coming out yet, however the plants aren't smelling a lot yet. I don't think Ill have any issues with the setup I bought. I was watching some vids of some large grows on youtube, and they were using a smaller carbon canister than me, hopefully that says something.

I'm running into an issue with my plants which I see everytime I flower, lower leaves spotting, yellowing and getting purple stems and falling off. Appears to be a mag issue so I fed each of the bigger plants a full dose of cal/mag with bloom nutes. It's only affecting the larger plants.

Idk if you guys have used smartpots, if you have how often did you water? Being in flower now, these plants are sucking up water so fast, I am watering every 3 days and it seems excessive to me but they are completely dry.

Sound about 20 pollen sacks on the hermie since my last check just a few days ago, decided to kill her off. Sucks because even though she hermied, she was the most progressed plant. I decided it was better to have no pollinated flowers and that having 4 plants instead of a totally packed tent was better as well.

Always wondered how much root mass these plants packed on so I decided I take a look, sure it's something everyone has already seen but took a few pics of the root system out of boredom, its not surprising these plants take up so much water so quickly.

I always love the root mass with fabric pots are way better then plastic pots you can just see how much better they grow

Day 16 of flower: Just a few pics, still getting yellowing of lower leaves only on the random strain. I think its due to lack of light on the lower plant. Seems like stretch is just about done and debating doing some defoliation to get some light to the lower side of the bush.

Well, kinda messed up today. Hopefully it doesn't hermie my plants. I don't run my led on a timer, because I haven't gotten a power strip and last night my phone decided to update and it reset my alarm. So the plants got an extra 1.5 hours of light :/

Having issues uploading on mobile but a little update.

The smell in my room is really bad I guess, I haven't noticed it but I had a friend come over and he noticed it as soon as he opened my door. So gotta take care of that tonight, might buy an ona block
Tomorrow and see if that helps.

As far as the plants, the red dragon are doing great, really starting to fill out and doing better than expected. I really do think I could hit 8 ounces dry pretty easily of things keep going the way they are.

The plant that's really exciting me is the random genetics plant, or smells more than any other plants I've ever grown, is covered in resin already starting week 3. The only issue I had is that before I left town for a few nights I thought I saw some bud rot and was worried the whole trip. I came back and took a much closer look and a majority of the buds are turning a purple color, some light and some pretty dark. But I guess that's a good thing! Hopefully

Alright, Finally got some pics.the plants are 25 days in since I switched to 12/12 and I think they are doing great. The rando has developed a new smell and smells like rotting apples lol... its disgusting, I cant even open the tent without the odor leaking out.

The rando just keeps swelling and is already bigger than my first grows plants turned out to be. Ill attribute that to the knowledge I got here and the combo of led/600whps.

One issue I am having is the one plant is yellowing at the top like you might expect later in flowering, seems a bit early though. Any Idea's guys?
