Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura) got to go up in space this month - SWEEEEEEEEET !

Jarred up the indoor DarkStar today. Oddly close to the Cheese total in the nice smoking nuggets department - 164.7 grams (5.8 oz.) The Cheese was 166... 11.6 oz out of a 4'x4' tent and I lost at least two ounces to rot.

I haven't tried it yet. Maybe tonight. It's a couch lock strain and I have too much to get done today. It's very crusty. I made some bud porn. ;)

Very very seductive pictures......yummy....dear Lord....

I have just popped some Darkstar beans that were generously gifted to me....you have set the bar very high for me, my friend.....

Nice Shawnee! It's a good medical strain. You will find that it is a little slower in veg and to set flowers than most all indica strains but patience is rewarded. Give me a shout if you have any questions.

will do, PJ, thanks.....this is my first dive into the indica world....I am largely a sativa girl, but want to expand my offerings to my patients and make some oil......looking forward to this next grow.....

Entering the disposable diaper greenhouse is an assault on the senses. The plants are all roughly the same height as me. Things in that tight space are in the face. For the past two weeks conditions have been stellar. I've seen a couple of overnight humidity spikes; the highest being 77%. Even those spikes are 20-25 dregees above dew point. There has been no condensation on the inside walls so far. The low has been 24% and mostly things are hanging around 45%. The lowest recorded temperature has been 59 f. Highs inside the enclosure are typically in the mid to low 80s.

The Sage 'n Sour continues to show some odd leafs here and there. The pistils are obviously receding now. It has been flowering for 7 weeks and is supposed to be a 9 weeker. Looks like it has a little longer than two weeks left yet... That strange toasted hazelnut smell persists although it has been becoming more herbal. Now my son who stopped by to visit this week doesn't get the toasted hazelnut reference. He just says it smells good. In the frantic restaurant kitchen environment we toasted an awful lot of hazelnuts over the years and then rubbed the skins off them. Burning the hazelnuts was BAD! They aren't inexpensive. In a hot oven they can go from golden beauties to burned crap in two shakes of a lamb's tail. Burning the croutons is a bummer but old cubed bread is fairly cheap. Never mind that. I'm tuned into smells. Each time I go into the greenhouse and catch a whiff of the Sage 'n Sour I want to shout out, "who has hazelnuts in the oven? They are done!" It sets off a trigger. A "Remembrance of Things Past," much like the madeleine did for Proust. If you happen to have a jar of Nutella around grab and smell it while you look at the pictures. Not exactly what I pick up, but...

The greenhouse DarkStar shows some phenotypical differences from the indoor one. The indoor one had thinner woodier stems, more blue tones, dark leaf color, and a much higher leaf to calyx ratio. This one is not going to be as quick to trim. It remains a little behind the Sage 'n Sour and is not as visually pleasing in the color department but is laying down a thick coat of resin and permeates the surrounding air with the strong scent of pine and fuel.

The two keeper phenos of Chitral are berry bombs. They both small like strawberry cereal. The larger pheno has purple and pink calyxes but not as darkly as the smaller one and lacks purpling on the sugar leaves. This strain is supposed to finish quickly and may beat the DarkStar even though it started flowering three weeks later.

The smaller one remains the prettier one but is getting it's ass kicked in the yield department.

Panama is picking up steam but has a LONG way to go. I doubt she is going to thrive in the cooler overnight temperatures of October. It isn't contributing much to the olfactory chaos at this point.

Well, I reckon my house will smell strongly of pine and fuel this holiday season while I sit around the fire trimming and humming Christmas carols

It will Shawnee! And there will a blanket of snow on what you trim, too.

Good one, PJ......and right back at 'cha :high-five:

Went to burp the Cheese jars this morning and Cheese has it's nose out of joint because I did DarkStar budporn and feels like it isn't getting it's due. So here are a couple of Cheese nugget pictures to appease it.

Say "cheese" for the camera

Don't taunt the Cheese.
Beautiful plants all the way around, PJ!
