Oh hell yeah Lupey :high-five: I definitely checked that out this morning, great job brother. Or should we start calling you master Lupey :Namaste: can't wait to see that sour jack finish up, I've got a hankering to grow some next round.

Hey snid seems you've been "away" nothing here or on your sharing knowledge thread I hope your well brother
All is well brother, thanks for asking :circle-of-love: I've been going crazy with juggling 3 jobs for the past month and two jobs for the past 3 months. It's long and by the time I get home I eat, smoke and sleep. I've got an afternoon off today, lol, so I'm online. I had 3 days off in February, 8 since new years and none so far this month. Yeeesh! :yikes: But I've stabilized my income stream and reduced my expenses to keep a semblance of my old lifestyle. It's been tough, not going to lie, but I'll make it. :thanks:

KiG :green_heart:cheers

I've finally got a day off, the best way I can think to spend it is sharing my ladies with you all. As you may have noticed, I'm not posting too much these days, but rest assured that I'm trying as best I can to keep up with your great journals. Hope you enjoy the update, let's get started with an good Ole Margy. She's been curing about a week now and I can't stop sampling. It's even more delicious than the cheese (which I love) making it the best tasting and frostiest buds I've grown. Here's a snap shot for ya'll...

20170311_111940.jpg

A sowing note on the photoperiods. I've still got only one sprout. I've never seen seeds this slow before. One just broke the soil and has its helmet on, the cotyledons seem to be stuck inside. I've been spraying the shell to soften it in hopes of avoiding surgery. I've got one other one that the seed cap is emerging but no signs of leaves to be unfolded. Then the last seed has a taproot an inch long but still hasn't broken soil. Very frustrating for me, I'm over a week behind now.

20170311_111209.jpg

Notes ~
All of the seedlings have now been topped. I was surprised to make the deadline of day 21 for the smallest two. It was tough making the snip, there wasn't much room. In fact one may have been FIMd, only time will tell. All of them are of a healthy shade of green with no signs of deficiency... Once again the diesel Berry has begun throwing her pistils early, Nothing yet on the others.

20170311_110324_0_.jpg

Notes ~
Flush time for Haze-L, we've got about 10% amber trichomes. Her buds are mighty dense as her pistils begin to retract and her foliage. Can't wait to see her in a week or so, ready for harvest. I've continued to pluck the decaying leaves, tucked others and spread her out as best as possible for these last days.

20170311_105236.jpg

20170311_105303.jpg

Notes ~
Tge colours on Leia are amazing as she cannibalizes her fan leafs for energy. She is still putting out fresh white pistils and most of the orange ones have not yet receded. We have no amber yet and will give her another round of nutes. Not much else to update except an increase in frostiness..

20170311_105728.jpg

20170311_105751.jpg

Notes ~
Slightly younger and evidently a week or so behind the others, Rey is by far the healthiest of the trio. I don't think I've had a greener plant this late in flower. Lots of bud growth still to come, she's filling in quite nicely already. She's got a different aroma than Leia, and her buds are more conical in comparison.

That's it fot this week's update. Enjoy the Weekend, I know I will...
:ciao:

KiG Everyone :green_heart:Cheers

Lovin the Skywalker Kush plants, solid strain for sure.
I would imagine so, it's been quite a frosty adventure. Glad to have had you along :Namaste:

You may be away physically but your good intentions are written on the wall....❤️
I try as best I can to keep track of your journal especially my dear. Hopefully soon I can get a regular life back and move forward to my next challenge. Whatever it may be... :Namaste:

The buds from Marge look outstanding Snid. Beautiful.
Cheers.
They're incredible! I am so amazed at their density, aroma and immediate smokability. I've got stuff in jars for nearly a month and they don't smell half as desirable as this atomic. I really wanted to grow a couple of those straight forward and see what I could do, but I lost my last two seeds. BubbleBomb is my next hopeful candidate, and I've got at least one sprout now, w/out its helmet :high-five:

I love the way you organize your journal:) Your plants look gorgeous as always!
It's become like a template now. I just copy my last post then delete all information/pics and rewrite a new entry but leave all the structured aspects intact. It has saved alot of time throughout the past few months. It keeps things consistent for you to compare from each update. Thanks Peaches :Namaste:

I know exactly what your talking about I am a restaurant owner/manager I work sometimes 70 hours a week sometimes no days off for months plus tending to my gardens, I do DWC so I HAVE to ch ph daily. But I love growing it's my passion, have been since 98! And watched the entire grow methods change I remember the old days I got seeds from bags of smoke and I would plant train but I have definitely learned so much over the last 5 years of my grows. Now we get strain specific and breeder recommendations and even grow tips, there was always the grow bible back then but nothing like today. Anyway sorry to hi jack your thread but check out my cotton candy harvest recently she was a mother for a while and was first soil in a long time

Hi Snid,

I am back on the boards and checking in with your grow, looks like you are going full steam ahead nicely there :)

that skywalker looks very nice indeed, I am growing out a skywalker x tangie at the moment.

keep up the goods stuff snid!

All I can say is WOW... I just went through this entire journal... I'm pretty sure it took me a week... so many amazing beautiful plants... that Marge... I love it how looking through made me really see the differences between a mag def. versus a nitrogen def. and all of the other wonderful information some of which I just picked up on my own going through page by page... Oh yeah I'm no expert by any means but I noticed at one point your were getting white topped buds and from what I have read it could be from leds being to close and bleaching the tops of the buds from light intensity maybe you already know this and you are way more experienced than me but I still try and look out.

Apologies for not replying to your recent posts, I'll be getting to them asap. I spent most of my day off sleeping, trying to catch up on that which I lost so far this week. Then time for a catch up day with my plants, who have been ignored of late. My frustrations with seeds continues, germination is becoming an issue. But in any case, let's get on with the update...

A sowing note, still no 3rd and 4th sprout. I discovered rotten innards of the remaining seeds. I sure hope there's no pests. I've got two more seeds in paper towels mm awaiting taproots. Here are the two successful sprouts...
Day 7

Day 4

The eldest sprout is starting to lighten up. It's time for a feeding I think. The small one has just finished unfurling her leaves.

20170315_184150.jpg

Notes ~
The seedlings have started elongating their branches from every node. Trans Siberian #'s 1 and 2 are making great headway in this regard. Trans Siberian #'s 3 and 4 are clearly behind but have both been topped and are now growing their new growth tips. FIM was avoided :thumb: They've had one round of mild nutes and are due for their next feeding tomorrow. Diesel Berry has definitely decided to start flowers, every node has visible pistils coming out.

Notes ~
I wasn't able to get a top canopy shot, I was advised that the smell was evident upstairs. Doesn't take long for the aroma to occupy the entire place once they're out of the Tents. Buds and foliage are extremely healthy still, this girl is going to have terpene overloads... Still a couple weeks from flush and a week or so before amber alert.

Another update complete. Hope you enjoyed the sights...

Re: Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

Snid, I really really liked your submission for the plant of the month.
Aside from the ingenious pictures (the bud and the spiral stem . ), The craft you did with her...
Dude, this is talent and and an amazing passion. Better than mine and vast majority of all submissions.
It's my very personal opinion, though.
Hats off to you, sir.

P.S - I voted for you :)
