1st Grow, 2 Noobs, Mystery Beans In Soil & Vermiculite, LEDs & CFLs

Good Morning Bro, well thanks for 411. I kinda was leaning towards them being Fems especially "The Runt". The RH in the closet ranges from 28% to 41%, Temps range 87 day to 75 night with the door closed and 73 to 77 days with the door open.
As far as vegging I'm going to wait for my VS 300 to come in and run it for a week to see what kind of growth improvement I get if I like what I see I may just wait till I get atleast 50% of the branching I want then let them go to flower this will also give me more time to get the rest of things I need including some strawberry kush and northern light seeds.

I'm looking at the plants and even after all I've put them through and the lst'ing and trimming the all but one look happy today. #1 seems to be lagging behind, all the others are for the lack of a better word seem to be "flourishing". I'm going to give it a chance to show me that it wants to stick around,if it doesn't grow out of its depression state then it has helped me make the decission of which one to get rid of for the space.

I was doing some calculations on my buckets and my space. The buckets measurements at the outer lip is 12 1/4 inches and I'm currently using four. My grow space is 34 1/2 inches wide. If I get rid of one bucket and do nothing to the others I still have a surplus of 2 inches. If I trim the upper lip of all 4 buckets I get an extra 9 inches from the buckets. However, it still doesn't give me the space I need to put the buckets side by side comfortably. Dilemmas-dilemmas.

OK I have an extra bucket which I use for PH water and have been doing some measurements on it and because the buckets are tapered "smaller on the bottom, bigger on the top" if I take 2 1/2 inches of the height off I just might be able to keep the 4 plants. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks. Before I start mangling the buckets. For now back to watching King Kong before my Queen Kong gets up form her nap. LOL

If I didn't know any better I would say that plant #1 has been reading my mind. I have been writing in the journal and taking measurements and calculating, never speaking out loud my plans and thoughts. (Proverbs 18:21) "The tongue has the power of life and death". Yet, plant #1 has decided to bring itself out of its depression. I will update photos of the plants later this evening.

So here are the pics of the plants yesterday and today

Good Morning Family, the plants are really looking awesome today, Plant #1 is showing signs of life but not rebounding as fast as the rest. Never-the-less it is showing that it does not want to "go gentle into that good night". The quote is from a Dylan Thomas poem.
Well catch you guys later. :peace:

Hi folks, well this morning I was checking my plants and notice that my Plant #4 The Runt was drooped out at the top node where I had topped it. Both branches are broke at the node, I did a quick google search but all I could find was how to fix the stem there was nothing about a break at the node can anyone tell me if there's a fix for this. here are pictures from yesterday and today. I currently have some electrical tape at the break trying to hold it together.
I circled the plant in the picture to show where the break occurred.
Is there a chance to fix those 2 limbs or take them off and trim it down

Helloooooooo 420 FAMILY, well this morning my hip and shoulder pain woke me up at 4:20, so since I couldn't go back to sleep my I got up and got "BAKED" and decided to update what here. my package arrived yesterday and I felt like a little kid at Christmas. I knew what was in the box, but I had this anxiety inside to just get the box open and when I did there it was my new light not exactly the one I wanted but it's are start in a better direction. Here's what happened yesterday, I got the package about 11:30 And like a kid I ripped into and found the light, the PH Pen, and my new ratcheting hangers.

I know that this place is for cannabis growing, however the theme here is growing, correct?
Here are some pics of my tomato seedlings in their homemade greenhouse.

So all I did was take the two butt ends of the tomato that my wife was going to throw away and threw them in soil and cover them with about a 1/4 of an inch of soil and about four days later I have tomato seedlings. I know it may be silly to some of you, but I have never grown anything. If you went on vacation, I couldn't watch your plants and water them, when you got from your vacation you would come home to some dead or nearly dead plants.
so i'm a happy camper. Next comes peppers and potatoes done the same way as the tomatoes.

Wats up my people ? well just a quick update tonight a better one tomorrow. It's been two and half three days now and the plants look pretty good. Large amount of green everywhere. They say a picture speaks a thousand words.

Good morning everyone. Well yesterday I decided to go over the plants and give them a tie down and a haircut. I hope that I'm doing things right, how many scientists and horticulturists have been doing things their own way thinking they might be doing it wrong just to be vindicated at the end of the project. Well that's me. I take your nuggets of golden information and tweek it and do some things my own way. The way to knowledge is trial and error. Man, have I made some errors in this grow but they are still growing.

SO I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP.

So without any further adieus, here are the pictures I took yesterday.

This is plant #1 she's doing OK sorry I forgot to take a before the haircut picture

It doesn't seem to want to be 'twisted, bent, and tied'.
They are doing great under the new light, however I move them around so they can each have a little of the intensity that is in the center.

I hope to hear some comments from you guys as to what I may be doing wrong or right.
