Do you like to shake even after rain? I used to watch mendo dope grows alot and they would always shake, but then someone told them shaking just makes the water further penetrate inside the buds rather than sticking to the surface. Wonder how much truth there is to that. They have monster colas so I can see the concern.

Maybe - especially since I think I see caterpillar shit. Is it mushy where it’s brown? Cut as much out as you can without spreading spores - maybe do the deed inside a gallon ziplock bag to protect the rest of her.

Thanks man! I didn't think we really had caterpillars here, will take a closer look when I get home. This seemed to have happened overnight.

Caterpillar/budworm poop? I am seeing these black spots all over the pistils and near the stems now.

Edit: found a budworm. Wonder if there are more...

Yes it was alive right next to one of the dark buds sites. I found about 4 sites total that were affected and now cut out. Frass everywhere!!! Wish I would have noticed this earlier. Have been scanning for more but since they hide inside the flower and green in color it's difficult see them.

Oh and I just cut off a larf sample from the Sherbet. Not quite as ripe as the top ones but it should give me a decent indicator of the taste and high.

Good luck with the cats! Do you have any BT? You can use it pretty much until harvest. You’re going to want to bud wash anyway.

Yes could have been much worse! I have found quite a few spiders scouring my plants lately and no sign of poop or budworms anymore! Think I got lucky or they just haven't hatched yet.

The Sherbet is currently on day 2 of drying after 40 hours in the dark. Very nice smoke so far even without a proper cure.

Jazz cabbage cola is getting bulky. Glad I put up the trellis.

Kabul Chem is still the runt. Here is a shot of her after some rain

Just tried to remove it and it went to dust, I want to say it was just a piece of ash. There are a couple poop specs here and there, but far less than last week.

Update: Found more shitterpillars. Had to cut out a bunch of buds, so this time I went to the store and got some spinosad (couldn't find cheap BT). Sprayed last night. Thinking every 2-3 days for a week or two. Opinions seem to vary on this stuff during flower but I'd rather try something rather than nothing and lose even more flower. At this point, I am planning a proper bud wash which will be a first for me. Hope this is the correct way to go about it!
