Adding more light

I'm currently growing 5 plants under a scrog running a 1000w HPS DWC Setup in 5 Gallon buckets with plenty of root room left! I'm in mid week 4 of Flower. I recently got a deal on a 1000w(200w from wall) blurple LED I'd like to add.


My question is would it be beneficial to add this light this late into flower? Or would it be a waste of power?

id add it. already rinsing power whats a little more.. whats the real draw of rhe led anyway. not 1k

Totally dependent on what you're growing.
You growing one plant in a 5 gallon pot or are you growing 6 plants in 10+ gallon fabric pots under a SCROG.

I added a 720w LED at week 4-5 on my last run, actually took it from my 600w for a week nearly 10 days and it actually helped with the quality of the look of the bud so having both running can only make your bud even better .

Are you talking about replacing the HPS with LED? Or running them both together? I can't see any reason to run two 1000w lights for such a small grow, just seems like overkill to me.

It's 4x10 and yes I mean adding it alone side the HPS. Everything isn't getting the same lighting. I just didn't want to prolong my flowering period or overstress them.
