the moisture is coming from the ground....dew. try putting a piece of plastic sheeting around the trunk & weight it down w/bricks or something. as the morning dew is evaporating it's coming up to kiss those nugs. this way, the moisture will be trapped by the sheet & as the day progresses it'll go back in the ground....where it belongs.

This place is basically a commune, all boot hippies, the best kind in my opinion. It has a long history, I never, ever ,thought I'd live in one. Musicians, Writers, Painters, Martial Arts Masters, Masters of Magic.." Angels and demons have been summoned and banished, all kinds of magical rights, and rituals ..etc."( part of the run down when I was moving in). When I first visited ,I felt the house welcome my spirit, and I longed to live here. Its not pretty, hell its got serious problems, but the back yard ahh! That pulled me right in. I just had to wait for a self-centered individual to leave (read, jail time for selling drugs that kill) I moved in and began a revolution, in the back yard. The Druid still does her seasonal rituals , I asked her to bless the garden as well. The rest don't practice summoning rituals anymore, as they have moved on to a different spiritual path. Banishing and protection rituals are done as needed. My rent is low and my spirits high. I love and appreciate my house mates , as they do me.
