My first grow crop Kings northern lights auto fem. Started with germination issues but crop King was amazing with their help

Soil: 3 gal pot
Bottom pearlite for drainage
Bottom 1/3 fox farms ocean forest, pearlite, and lime
Center 1/3 fox farms ocean forest, happy frog, light warrior, pearlite and lime
Top 1/3 light warrior, pearlite and lime

Lighting: 4-23w 2700k cfl's in brooder light reflectors on stands on sides
4-23w 6500k cfl's in brooder light reflectors on stands on sides
1-125w 6500k cfl in high bay reflector hanging over top
Lighting is on a 18/6 schedule
Also have 4-40w 2700k to switch out during flowering

Grow space: 48"x48"x80" grow tent
Humidifier set at 60% 24/7
Circulation fan 24/7
Heated floor: 42" x42" plywood floor lined underneath with 48' of incandescent rope lighting 24/7 maintains 65deg at night and 80deg during the day

Update: soil mix is 1/4 pearlite and 1 tbs lime per gal

Installed light stands to move side lights closer, added 24hr timer to heated floor to reduce heat-heat on for 6hrs of darkness then cycling 1 hr on 1 hr off through light cycle and turned fan up 1 speed for more circulation.

Also tied top foliage up and tucked side branches to expose new growth

Ended up turning heated floor off during the light cycle and dropped temp to 79 going to install floor liner tomorrow for more reflectivity it seems that the raw wood absorbs too much light

When it comes time to flowering I have 4-40w 2700k cfl's to replace the 4-23w 2700k bulbs in use now but I also have a 100w hps. I am wondering if I should replace my 125w 6500k with the hps for flowering that would give me a higher flowering spectrum. Right now it's about a 2/1 ratio 6500k/2700k for veg as per bontastics recommendation.

It is kind of hard to tell from this pic but I tied up the upper foliage to get better light penetration to new growth inside, how long should I keep her wrapped up like this. It seems like she's just growing taller without the stretch to the main stalk. The bottom of the canopy just seems to be staying where it is

Definitely use the hps. It's the right spectrum for flowering. You can use your 4 6500k and /or a mix of 2700k and 6500k cfls as side lighting.

When ponytailing your plant you could do it for 6-8 hours in a 18/6 schedule. I usually do it for my time at work and then retrain her after, it's about 6 hours every couple days. It definitely shows in secondary growth

Thanx snid when I got home from work she had "grown out" of her ponytail but could sure see the difference in her veg growth. Cooling the temp, moving the lights, and increasing the ventilation sure seemed to help. It's obsessive watching her grow like a "weed". Looking forward to see how the nutes help starting Sunday

Day 34 above ground. Installed floor liner for reflectivity. Gave first nutes supplement a little under half strength fox farms run off pH 6.4. Added exhaust fan and put on timer with lights

Looks like she's about ready to take off!! Hold on to your knickers cuz she's going to explode with growth over the next week or two.

Keep up the ponytail training it will do wonders for her.

Thanx snid trying to get a little more growth before serious LST. Right now just doing the ponytail and tucking leaves to promote the undergrowth

While putting in floor liner realized timer got bumped to constant on, reset timer now she's running 72deg with lights and exhaust blower on "Jezebel" is starting some nice secondary growth anxious to see how she looks tomorrow
