First grow-Michigan Medical Marijuana-2009

DFW-guy, true, but my main concerns are light schedule (20/4 for the auto's, 18/6 for the other 2) and if there are indeed some males in the auto's, I don't want a chance of cross pollination with the medical-1024 and the strawberry blue. My girlfriend has talked about letting one each of the medical-1024 and strawberry blue go to seed on their own. Save us a bit of $'s on purchasing seeds. Another friend who is also a patient/caregiver has some white widow started. Maybe thinking of swapping a couple of plants with him. Variety is the spice of life! :)

DFW-guy..thought I would include a pic of our last grow with an AK47 Autoflower. Nearly 4 ozs off this one. Was so sorry we had to harvest her. Should have let her go for another week. This photo is one week before we started the flush regime.

yes GMT and i are both legal... well he is legal to grow as i am the patient..i was surprised myself about the amount we had gotten off of the autoflower ak47 . now i am hoping that we get close to the samwe off of the other ones.. well except the 3 regular strains that are growing.. im still trying to think of what will be done with all yummies once they are completed..perhapa exchange the bearhydes out from the deep freezer and make it a medicine storage unit.. LOL

MDVL if you guys haven't already guessed is my better half. That AK47 came to us at about 3 weeks of age..potted in miracle grow. We transplanted into more miracle grow and experienced so nute burn and salt buildup. Drove the ph up a bit high. Imagine we could have done a little better with good soil. As for what to do with the yummies, I was contemplating using the 5 deer head mounts in the living room as drying racks! :)

Traficante: ^420 bro, I must add, 4 ozs of mighty fine herb with many repeat customers! :)

Stully, yes, as MDVL has stated, we are both legal. I am her caregiver as she is the patient. I noticed the pic after I posted and had it been otherwise, I would have been somewhat hesitant. Thanks bro! Thinking "caregiver" should be changed to something like "procurement & quality sampling specialist"... lol

Stully, the reason for separation, besides cross-pollination, is the last grow with the AK47, we kept on a 24/0 light schedule. Seemed to do quite well and so I was hoping to try a 22/2 or 20/4 light schedule from seed to flower on the auto's and a reg 18/6 for the other plants. The 2 unknowns will be on a 12/12 in a week or less. Sure glad walmart has the lamp reflectors with 15' cords on sale for $5.00 ea. Gonna try for 6 lamps per grow room, all cfl's, for now.

Just caught up on your grow. Looks like you have it all figured out, Look forward to seeing how it all turns out. Great job + rep if I can.

Sonzor, thanks for stopping by. Appreciate the encouraging words. We are by no means pro's at this, but with what we have learned through experience and the vast amount of help available from good peeps here, we hope to do very well. Best wishes for a very fruity harvest!

Day 6 of germination. Took a peek at the 4 remain seeds that have not broken the surface. 2 have definite roots started, while the other 2 are struggling but still might make it. Thought I would throw in some pics of the 2 existing grow areas in the grow room.

Grow area 1 with the babies.

Grow area 2 with the 4 unknowns.

Like your setup, really clean, great job.. And thank for the kind words and stopping in on my journal..

Sonzar, thank you bro. We originally had one big room, but found it neccesary to have multiple areas for growing. Mich medical rules require a locked room. So this it what we have so far. Thanks again, maybe all your grows be bountiful.

Stully, thank you bro! Appreciate your words.

Checked the babies this AM, all are doing very well, have one more breaking the surface, Auto Blueberry #3. Talked it over with the girlfriend and we decided if the the road runner doesn't sprout, then I will gently peel back the seed shell and help it along. Worse comes to worse, thinking of starting the Moby Dick seed, along with two more AK47 x Hindu Kush auto's. Want to keep the garden at our full 12 plant capacity. We are feeding the "sprouts" a very light mix of nutes and occasional CO2 saturation.
