you’ve got a while before you do any of that.
topping, I always wait till there is at least 5 internodes. I cut the bottom two internodes off, and top above the fifth. Leaving three internodes one tact. Then train the 6 branches down. If the bottom (third internode) doesn’t make it to the top canopy when I lollipop after the initial stretch of going into flower, I just remove it then and there. Sometimes they make it to the top, sometimes they don’t.

super cropping is a great tool to be utilized if don’t properly. Just bend a branch over till it’s bent completely over (damn near snapping the stem, but not fully) after an x amount of hours they will start reaching for the light again at a different lower angle then before.

I will be topping My plants here in the next couple days, you will have to watch out for my tutorial.

These are the nutrients I use. They’ve done me well. Easy peasy!

Different leaf sizes is just nature. They usually grow out of it after the second set of fan leaves.

I don't recommend topping more than once. Topping pides the bud size down.

I like Dyna-Gro. I hated having to mix 5 or 6 bottles all the time.

Gotcha, I totally screwed the pooch on my first go round. Im kinda glad they were all male plants..lol I did learn alot though. I battled bugs, mold, mix my feed, and I learned how to make a trellis from cordage.

GG4 she finally started stretching again 2.25" second set is looking good.

Pineapple Express #1 2" she is looking so strong! Second set is beautiful!

Pineapple Express #2 2.5" the second set is trying to push.

Pineapple Express #3 1" low and behold my little runt is starting to perk up! Her Center leaves are not laying down anymore. She is my little Rudy!

Blue Hawaiian #1 2.5" her second set is fast-tracking! They are almost standing on their own.

Blue Hawaiian #2 1.5" second set is creeping out.

Blue Hawaiian #3 2" no second set yet but she still looking beautiful!

Utilizing my hydrometer and the lift method it is time to feed the girls. I'm using water PH 6.5 72° .5 ml Superthrive, till runoff.
Did any of you guys use LST? If you do what means do you use to hold your girls in place? I used these twisty ties

They did the job but a couple of times it broke off the end I was trying to train.

On a side note I will be starting another grow sponsored by Giixer growlights. I'll have the link posted my signature block when I start the new Journal. I use paper binder clips and a string that could be used for a dry line... like a nylon rope of some sort

congrats on the light. I was thinking of joining in on that. Not sure if any spots are left.

Thanks! I just got my trackimg number this morning. I know I'm quite a ways away from having to worry about LST. I'm trying to gather as much information as I can, so if I can purchase items that I need slowly before I get to the point where I must have them. I Like the idea of using Clips to hold the tie downs. I didn't think of that on my first grow. I drilled through my flower pots LOL . When I was using these tie downs I had broke off some ends of my plants , that's why I was asking what other means were there out there to use so I won't make the same mistake again. It sucks having to frantically make a clone from the tops I broke off using this Wire. Thanks for the info, that is definitely going in my toolbox.

I lowered the distance of my light, the girls tops seem to be tipping left and right trying to find a light.

GG4 2.25" the second set of leaves pushed out pretty quick after the feeding yesterday

Pineapple Express #1 is still at 2" and the second set of leaves are starting to stand on their own.

Pineapple Express #2 is just under 3" the discoloration seems to be reducing in size and the second set is pushing out now

Pineapple Express #3 she is still trying to play catch-up it's center leaves are still trying to develop.

Blue Hawaiian #1 2.5" she has a slight droop in her leaves, the second set is standing on their own.

Blue Hawaiian #2 1.5" second set is looking good

Blue Hawaiian #3 (ungerminated) 2" second set finally coming in!

Honestly, I might just try pipe cleaners from a dollar store. If not, those green coated metal ties.

That's the type that I used. Be careful using them, we can break off your plant. I always made sure I had some cloning solution just in case..lol

this type of material I use, it works really well because you burn it instead of cutting. What I mean is just use a lighter. You can loop it around the clip or what ever your using heat it up again and create a loop. No tying necessary. It’s been super easy. For me anyways.

So have you ever had friends or family members that had new babies that seem to always showing a whole bunch of pictures of the baby doing the same thing over and over... Just laying there? LOL I kind of feel like that's what I'm doing to you guys. So I'm going to be doing once a week updates vs. daily on this journal. But I will continue doing my daily handwritten Journal for this grow.

GG4 2.5" second it is standing on its own

Pineapple Express #1 2" she has very peculiar Leaf growth. It seems like the next set of Leafs are coming out the side and the center.

Pineapple Express #2 still just under 3" unlike #1 new growth is developing in the center.

Pineapple Express #3 1"she is definitely putting up a fight! Her leaves are starting to perk up and get a little color. I misjudged her thinking she was going to die soon. Good job little one!

Blue Hawaiian #1 second set of leaves is looking outstanding! She has new growth coming up the center.

Blue Hawaiian #2 the second set it's still developing, no other new growth

Blue Hawaiian #3 second set still creeping alone.
