Gazolenes Fluorescent Grow

Day 63, the end of week 9.

The twins are looking good. I'm thinking maybe 3 or 4 more weeks. We shall see. I have trimmed some of the lower fan leaves.

The quads are at the end of week 5. Each has been topped, all are showing signs of being female. I have re potted into larger pots, hopefully their final transplant.

The youngest plants are now 7 days old. One of them is a runt, but has shown some promising signs.

The filter arrived today. Its made by Swift-air. I bought if from Amazon for £19.99.

First impressions are good, sturdy build, bigger than I thought it would be. Hopefully it works well.

Twin 1 is showing brown hairs and lots of crystals! She also stinks.

Looks great Gaz! These small grows are so much fun! What is your total energy consumption up to now?

Thanks. Used about 325kw I reckon. Its cost me about 40 quid in electric so far.

I mean how much power are you using when the lights are on. Good to keep track of overall total and cost though, often overlooked. Keep up the good work!

The heating and 1 fan is on 24 hours a day = 140w per hour

The lights and 1 fan are on 12 hours a day = 275w per hour

Total power used per day is 6.66kw

Twin 1 was ready to harvest today. Here is a photo of before and after.

I'm estimating 10grams of dried bud. Nothing impressive but I am just pleased to have got something from my first grow.

First crop from Twin 1 (The topped one) was 17grams! Smelly girl! I am about to have a sample before curing for a couple of weeks.


Twin 2 is looking good and will probably be harvested this weekend coming.

I'm going to close this Journal as my first 2 plants have been harvested. That concludes my first grow, and I will now bring the focus on my next 4 plants in another journal. I appreciate your comments, likes and any tips you have shared along the way.

I was able to complete my objectives, keeping the plants small and the running cost and temperature low.

Twin 1 weighed in at a mighty 17grams. I've smoked some and she tastes great. Really mellow and fruity, no harshness at all. She smells absolutely lovely! Shame she didn't yield more, but I have learned a lot in the process.

Twin 2 is still drying but will weigh in around 15-25 grams.

I'll maybe update this with the final dry weight of twin 2 but other than that this journal is now finished!
