Jerkey, cheesecake and Zkittles....is there anything they cant do?

Happy new years you guys! Hope you're all able to sit down with some of your tasty green and ring in the new year with a smooth home grown toke. :bongrip:

I've got to make a few more posts to get my plants and photos caught up!

On the topic of jerky, that stuff does not last long in this household. I had 6lbs of certified angus eye of round and once it all turned into tasty dried treats it was less than a week before it was all gone!

12/21 - 12/23

The stunted zkittlez plant remains on the same path. Bud development and growth has been dismal... I probably should have culled it a while back and let the big plants spread out a little more. I just hoped it would get back on track. Oh well, it can sit as an experiment.

To this point I've been very loosely ph'ing my water to 6.7/6.8 in combination with mega crop feedings in the 6 to 6.5 gram per gallon range. I still mix a 5 gallon bucket each time and that's been working out great.

After a few grows under my belt, I now spend less time worrying about precise light height measurements and simply go by what the plants are showing me. The two large zkittlez kept stretching for the longest time but have finally slowed down to where I am comfortable with the TSW-2000 height.

Edit - I forgot to mention how awesome it is to not have a single bug around with this grow... *knock on wood*

Christmas eve 12/24:

It was time to take defoliation to stage 2 lol. With temperatures being more mild over the holidays this year combined with holiday cooking etc. our indoor humidity levels have been higher than usual. Even with a dehumidifier running, I figured getting rid of all the extra lower foliage would only help the overall tent RH

Nice frost, nice stacking...nice!

I hope knocking on wood doesn't disturb the bugs...

The strawberry cheese is just covered! So sticky and stinky. Trichomes just flowing up the stems of all the fan leaves, really liking this plant.

I sure hope so too, wouldn't want to bang out any of those termites :goof:

12/27-12/30:

No major changes to anything except raising the lights. In my previous posts I mentioned not worrying so much about light height after having to adjust it so many times with the zkittlez stretching. It was time again though and as of today (01/02) the zkittlez #2 (left rear plant) is showing signs of previous leaf damage

I also really need to invest in a new air intake, my ghetto fan that's been used over the past 3 grows is no longer cutting it. The tent is always in a state of negative pressure and my AC Infinity 6" exhaust is turned up more than it should be to help suck in more fresh air through the weak intake.

Strawberry Cheescake: Nothing but love for this plant. The buds could be a little bigger but I'm hoping there's still enough time left for them to continue getting their swell on. Super sticky with a scent that overpowers all of the zkittlez at this point.

Zkittlez:

#1 (right rear) - Doing really well. During this time period I went in and opened up spaces between colas by removing a whack of fan leaves on both the big plants. I am/was (during this time frame) a little concerned about the state of the bud development on all the zkittlez. They're stacked better than any other plant I've grown but the vegetative growth compared to bud growth is worrying me. They have lots of pistils but there is next to no density yet at the center of the bud. We're 10 weeks 1 day into the grow and they have been slow going the entire time. Maybe I'm just worrying too much...

#2 (left rear) - Similar plant to #1, super cropped a couple branches early on and broke one that never quite recovered well. Having some upper leaf issues in the center area (closest to center of the light) that I'm chalking up to previous light damage.

#3 (left front) - Nothing good to note here. Leaving this gal in the tent for now and just picking off unhealthy leaves as I go. As of today I am considering pulling it to make a little veg room for the Black Sugar grow as I thought I would have been wrapping things up by now. Pulling this one plant should give me a little room to get a couple seeds dropped and start some veg growth while the others finish up. (Note to self, don't plant new strains of autoflowers and assume they'll be done in a similar time frame as the last strains lol)

Zkittlez #1 below - This is a shot of the main stem cola, it looks pretty decent but all the rest are considerably behind in comparison.

How long into flower? I found the majority of my bulking came in the last 2 weeks.

You know, now that I go back and look/think about it... The zkittlez, despite being planted 5 days ahead of the strawberry cheesecake has probably only been flowering under 4-5 weeks (start of december from what I can tell). They veg'd forever and I feel like at this stage they are a good 1 to 1.5 weeks behind the strawberry cheesecake in flower time.

I think I just got into my own head after my previous 10/11 week start to finish autoflower grow.
