Grow Number Two: The Keeper Of The Northern Lights & The Lady In Pink

so today it's 29 days since the girls were born. I replanted them on day 24 into 3 Gal fabric pots although they turned into about 2.5 Gal pots since I didn't have enough soil to completely fill the pots.
The following pics are from the day I replanted them "day 24"

This is Mariah (BBL) day 24

They look like they need to recover from the transplant. Other than that things look great! In the next week or 2 you are going to see a big diffrence in growth now that they are no longer root bound. I forgot to tell you to put Mycorrhiza ont he soil before transplanting. This helps with the root growth and they eat that stuff up big time. (it's cheap) Get the Mykos brand.

So today makes 42 days since the girls were born. I watered them 2 days ago with 40 ounces of 1/4 strength NUTE solution. 1/4 tsp EARTH JUICE GROW 2-1-1 and 1/4 tsp of CAL-MAG 1-0-0 to a gal of water PH 6.9. I splashed some solution on some of the leaves while watering and they show it. The Lady in Pink "BBL" is less finicky than The Keeper of the Northern Lights "NL". I have been under-watering them with only 40 ounces of PH water or solution every 4 to 5 days in order not to over-water like I did the last grow. I'm not training them as severe as I did the last ones. I have plans to flip the lights to 12/12 on 7/26. Here are a couple of pictures of the girls today.

Grow Number Two - The Keeper Of The Northern Lights & The Lady In Pink

NL us making a nice recovery. They are underwatered though. Use about 1 gallon per 5 gallon container. This can vary but should be safe. Water slow and not all at once. That droop u have going on means they need a bit more water. Take in mind higher temps will require that. Good job bro! Keep it green.

Hey Everybody, Been gone for a few days got back to my girls in distress.
Hey Kab, you told me that they were under watered and I knew that. I was only giving them about one third what they needed but was watering more often you know trying to dial them in. (As a wise man once told me) Better to underwater than over water. Anyway, I adjusted the water and went to my mother in law's house for a couple of days and when I returned I found the girls with multiple symptoms from N deficiency to Manganese. That coupled with my suspicion that my previous watering and feeding never got to them which all came down to PH lockout. It had been a while since I had calibrated my PH meter so I checked it before re-calibrating and after and found it to be .9% PH off.
SOLUTION: I flushed the girls with filtered tap water 7.5 PH (6.8 PH Adjusted) then fed them with 1/3 solution of Earth Juice Grow 2-1-1 and Cal-Mag 1-0-0. They look like shit but NL always looks worse.
Here are the pics of them yesterday.

If you got any ideas I would love to hear them.

Hi Fam. It was last Friday when I found my girls in distress and did what I could to fix things. Today I took and watered the girls only with 6.6 PH filtered tap water being that I fed them last Friday, trimmed them of all the dead leaves, I also raised the lights to 20 inches above the canopy. I have come to the conclusion that NL is a Pre-Madonna and BBl is a hardy, don't care what you do to me strain. Since I put them in the ground NL has been having a bad time but BBL has been doing really good.
Here are some pics of them today after watering and trimming.

As you can see NL looks like a crackhead after everything that's happened.

Hoping to see some major improvement during this next week before I flip the lights to 12/12

Howdy Fam, I took and watered the girls Friday with 60 ounces of water. I did this with the intentions of seeing if the girls would rebound. However. with the feed ounce, then water once routine wasn't working because of my light feeding so today I watered them with a 3/4 NUTE solution.

The Nute Solution: 2 Gallons Filtered Tap Water PH 7.8 before Nutes or adjusting PH

GEN. HYDRO. MicroFlora Recommended dose 2Tsp per Gal, 3Tsp Total (N-P-K) 5.0 - 0 - 1.0, (Calcium) 5.0, (Boron) 0.01, (Cobalt) 0.0005, (Copper) 0.01, (iron) 0.1, (Manganese) 0.05, (Zinc) 0.015, (Molybdenum) 0.0008

GEN. HYDRO. Cal-Mag Recommended dose 1Tsp per Gal, 1Tsp Total (N-P-K) 1 - 0 - 0, (Calcium) 5.0, (Magnesium) 1.5, (Iron) 0.1

Earth Juice Element Bloom Recommended dose 0.5Tsp per Gal, 1Tsp Total (N-P-K) 0 - 16 - 16

Earth Juice Catalyst Recommended dose 1Tsp per Gal, 1.5Tsp Total (N-P-K)

Molasses 2Tsp pr Gal, 4tsp total

Solution PH 6.56 after adjusting. Fed the girls with 80 ounces each, about 5 ounces of solution runoff each.

Here are some pics of the girls before watering and before trimming the dead or dying leaves. I will post some more pics in 2 or 3 days to see how they look compared to today.

Hey Folks, so it's been 4 days since I fed the girls with 3/4 NUTE solution and I thought they would look better than they do but I guess they will continue to get better. I refuse to to flip the lights till they are looking their best. Hell I fought tooth and nail with my first kids in order to get it right and the mystery bag beans were given to me imagine how I feel today knowing that I paid for these. Anywho, here are some pics of the girls. If anyone has n opinion as to what the girls are needing or lacking, please feel free to comment I'm still learning.

Hi guys. ProOrNoIGrow, welcome back. Sorry I've also been M.I.A. had a death in the family. My sister-in-law overdosed on a cocktail of xanax bars, meth, and elavils. She died in my nephews arms and he's only 19. Fucked up way to see your mom go. Have had to beg, borrow and steal to bury her as she had no burial insurance.

Jesus Christ man...poor kid. I assume this was your brother's wife?...that's tough bro. I hope you guys the best and my condolences man.

As far as the girls are concerned they don't look like they're getting any better no matter what I do, so I started thinking about just putting them out of my misery, then I thought about it again and decided to recheck my PH Meter and it's a P.O.S. won't calibrate. So I decided to run a complete soil test. N-P-K and PH.

BUBBLICIOUS> N-P-K Soil readings were N, 0 - P, 4 - K, 3 and Soil PH is 6.3

NORTHERN LIGHTS> N-P-K Soil readings were N, 0 - P, 4 - K, 3 and Soil PH is 6.3

On the rapid soil test kit the scale goes as follows for N-P-K
N-0=DEPLETED P-0=DEPLETED K-0=DEPLETED
N-1=DEFICIENT P-1=DEFICIENT K-1=DEFICIENT
N-2=ADEQUATE P-2=ADEQUATE K-2=ADEQUATE
N-3=SUFFICIENT P-3=SUFFICIENT K-3=SUFFICIENT
N-4=SURPLUS P4=SURPLUS K4=SURPLUS

Luckily I had also bought the PH up & down kit when I first started my first experiment grow which brings PH solution for checking nutrient solution PH.

I should have flipped the lights on them already. They are 80 days old today and I refuse to give up on them. I WILL SMOKE A BLUNT FROM THIS GROW!!!

I'll give you guys more info later today and put up some pics too.
