GR's Fall '19 Coco Grow

New Mexico! That’s two, 12-hour days of driving from here. Ummm...no thanks; my PTSD would slap me for sure.

LOL! Some day we’ll smoke a fat one together though.

Would love that my friend!

Let's see, we will start the day with three or four hard candies, and a couple of hits of a rig. Then after lunch and a nap, :) , we will roll up that fat one or two, three, four, the boundaries are limitless!
:rofl::rofl::laugh::laugh::rofl::rofl:

Looks like, discounting any future problems, we are going to get 11 of 13 spouted.
3 of 4 - Original Skunk #1
3 of 4 - BlueBerry
5 of 5 - G13 Haze
These were started in water on Tues. evening and planted Thur. afternoon.
Got some seed caps wanting to stay with the plant, will give a another day or so and remove manually is necessary.

Tonight these little ladies will be one week since I put the seeds in jars to soak for 36 hrs or so.
Looks like it will be 11 of 13.

Well "I'm on my way, I don't know where I'm going, I'm on my way, taking my time but I do where".

Now that they have some roots going they should take off, I expect at least double by this time next week. Hope to go into two gallon SmartPots in the next 10 to 14 days.

They have begun taking off, check the roots on a couple of them and they are doing well. Hope to be able to transplant them by next weekend. A couple of them may need a bit longer, but we will see how they look this coming weekend.

Going to increase the CaliMagic and Epsom slightly, seeing some deficiency.

Put the ladies outside today to catch some rays, they are loving it.

In the tent prior to taking them outside. Checked the roots on one of the larger plants yesterday and they should be ready for transplanting by this weekend. A couple of the G13's may need a bit longer in the cups before transplanting into the 2 gallon Smart Pots.

Day 14 since sprout.
Be putting them into 2 gallon Smart Pots this weekend.

Had a bit of a Cal/Mag problem early on, but adjusted the CaliMagic and Epsom and all is good now.

You gonna hand water?

Only hand want in this size containers, and when they get into their final 2 gallon smart pots I will hand water till I see good root growth. I then go to my auto system.
Don't have pics of my new rez or the new pump but this is the last system I used, have just updated it.

This has worked great so far.

Damnit. I'm late for this party. But at least I got in before the real fun starts. This looks like it's gonna be fun! Can't wait to see the end result. But I'm sure it will be great like your other grows.

Welcome, there HS, not late just a bit tarty. :)
Thanks for the comment on my grows.

Today is the 17th day since sprout, so thought I would go ahead and transplant.
Going into 2 gallon Smart Pots from the 9 ounce cocktail glasses. First filled each pot with weighed coco/perlite, 70/30, then flush with CaliMagic and Epsom to make sure the coco is charged. I then made a solution of lite nutes, CaliMagic, Epsom, Rhizotonic, Cannazym, Rapid Start and Great White.
Here is the SP filled and a cup is place to create the hole,

Most transplants had good roots like this one.

There were a couple like this, not much root system, will need to work on these. Will be hand watering these till I get a satisfactory root system.

Here they are back in the tent, going to give them a few day under the T5 before I install the 315's in the tent.

.

Had some Cal/Mag issues early on, but that has been corrected.
The two plant to the right of the center row are the two with root issues, as stated will be on a different water schedule until the root system develops.

Transplanted on Saturday and put them under a 6 bulb T5, so today the 315 was installed in the tent.

I have made my decision on the plants I am going to keep this grow.
Giving my assistant, too pic up tomorrow, one each of the three strains, a G13 Haze, Original Skunk and BlueBerry. I am going to do an 8 plant horizontal grow, so 4 - G13 Haze, two Original Skunk and two BlueBerry.

Worked on the irrigation system, set up the rez, installed the pump to manifold and ran the hose into the tent. Once inside I attached the hose to the 8 port Orbit Manifold and put on the emitters.

Hand watering the front three plants, the ones for my assistant, and the others are on the system.

Did not get a pic tonight but this is a pic of the emitters I am using with this setup. This pic is from my Cheese grow last fall.

Just love the coverage. Hard to get good even saturation in coco with a drip emitter, this bitch is the queen. Best I have used to date.
Tested the system with a 5 gallon bucket with my nute solution and it worked just great, just needs the emitters tweaked a bit. Tomorrow will fill the rez and begin daily to twice daily waterings, this is all base on root development. Not happy until I see the root penetrating the Smart Pots.

Hey Gr!

Things are looking good and I like the automated watering!

I’m trying to figure my setup out and slowly piecing it all together. I’m torn beteeen a recirc pump or air stones for my reservoir but leaning towards a recirc for better mixing.

What do you run in that setup?
