so the gist of it is really that eventually i want to potentially fill a 4x8 tent with 5 gallon buckets on the same setup. she agrees, but pointed out the net pots in bucket lids may be a problem.....to which i agreed, lol.

and then.....you post that you have a possible problem with exactly that. lol

i know it costs more, but i think i really like the net pot lids like i've used in my dwc. easily drilled for them sprayers too if using the 6" net lids. would work slick.

Now to the cups . I thought about bigger cups , buts that size it what my aeroflo used without this issue but the plastic is way stronger. Now I could never reuse the cups because of the root mass that grew through them and I did think of the lids you are talking about but when I thought of how I could never reuse cup I went against it . Right now in regards to bucket size I'm feeling that 2.5 - 3.5 gal will be perfect . I'm actually leaning towards 2.5 not 100% there yet but leaning that way .

Okay here we are @ day 23 from 12/12 .. I'm happy with the flower formation it seems to be coming along rather nicely , this is the control branch that was featured in the previous flower photos . Hope you enjoy the porn!! All I can think of righ now is what it's going to look like in 5-6 more weeks .

Yes I'm thinking they are going to be fat and that fact that I have close to 30 branches just like that one scares me a little but puts a big grin on my face at the same time . Lol

I know that a 5 gallon lid will fit a 3.5 gallon bucket ...not sure about a 3 . She wants you to fill it heh lol. Sounds like you have a great woman by your side . I think you will enjoy this type of system . I know I do !

Yes she is ... I haven't decided yet , there is do much I would like to do but space is a factor .. I've thought about clones , starting some new seeds , but hear the past few days I have been thinking of revegging them since I have never done it and well I love these plants and their root mass. I know you revegged . What do you think ?

Well instead of getting the 3 gallon bucket. I happen to stumble upon a rubbermaid underbed box that is 7 in tall x 38 long x 16 wide at Wal. I was think you could cut 10 diameter hole on the lid. So this will allow you to use the the 5 gallon bucket lid, i believe the five gallon lid is 12" in diameter. the 5 gallon lid will act as a cover for the hole and you dont have to remove the plant from the lid lol

the reveg was fun yes. but it wasted too much of something i don't have enough of....time. so if you are short of space, don't do it. if you have an extra space out of the way that isn't going to disturb normal growing operations, go right ahead. i think we should all experience a reveg at some point. but we have to plan for it. time and space are the two big factors. simply put, when your other plants are ready to bloom, she will not be. when you want to start a new batch, she will be in bloom.

so a reveg is fun and great and a good experience to have, but it can also suck the life out of you. it requires a lot of patience.

personally, i think once i have my second tent going,(hopefully this weekend) one will be for veg, ie: a mother and cloner and clones. likely 1k hid, a rack at one end for clones, so they get indirect lighting using the 1 light. the other will be for bloom, so that one will get the led, light mover and be on 12/12. i'll run autos in the bloom tent, to fill it out until i can produce enough clones, which i am not ready with yet anyhow, so it will still run at 18/6 on autos until i have the mom. which the first will likely be my dwc critical kush.

with space being a factor for you, go either clones, or autos. wait....do you have two spaces with two lights? one to veg a mom and clones and the other to bloom them? if not then maybe autos is the answer for you. if you have two spaces, do you still have a vegging blueberry around? might be that'd make a good mum?

i'm going to assume this would be a solid color box, not clear correct? if so, it almost makes sense. it would keep the plant height down quite a bit. seems a good idea potentially.

i'm just not a fan of painting or wrapping clear boxes with tape and what have you to make them work. i'm always thinking of off gassing of adhesives and such. ever smell duct tape? it stinks. put enough of that in a hot humid area what may happen? idunno. but i know it prevents me from wanting to do it lol.

I know exactly what you are talking about . I have one as I was originally going to use it as my res , it's 27 gallons . The only thing about tubs is the mobility of the plants and let's say you are running non fem seeds .. If you get a make in there the root mass is going to be tied with all the others ..there are others but those are the two main draw backs . But I do appreciate the suggestion.

One of my ideal set ups would be a a 4x8x7 tent using that tub as a res and 8 plants in buckets .

Well first thank you for your response .

Now I do have two spaces since I bought that short tent I had intended to move blueberry into.

Right now I either crack some seeds and put them in that tent, snip some branches of off my flowering ladies to clone, they will revert back to veg , that I have done before or I reveg these after harvest . Now based on my reading , again reading revegging does take time but it is faster that growing from seed . Was that your experience ?
In regards to time I am really not pressed for time in regards to any kind of production number .

The only person I'm looking to find something for is my Father , I feel that a good indica would help him as he has tried a hybrid and it did .. Mainly for his asthma and sleeping . He doesn't need a strong strain , he is good with one to two small hits off of the volcano vape bag. So I have also looked into getting some of crop kings cbd strain for him to check out after the blue berry.

No that is a clear tub Unforgiven . So it would need to be painted or taped .

couldn't really compare to what i did i guess. cuz i had a plan to grow a bigazzed plant. which i did.

if you do a reveg, just make sure you leave a bunch of greens on it to help it get started. leave a bunch of the lil popcorn buds on it. that gives new growth continuity for where to grow out of. i left very little so it took awhile to get back on its legs. try to leave some stuff all the way up the branches here n there, it keeps fluid running through the veins too the top then. mine was all at the bottom, so the tops of the sticks didn't do much at all.

almost leaning more towards you taking some clones off the current ladies and gettin them back into veg. probably be faster and easier to do. save a big single reveg for another day. now with that said, by the time these ladies are done, your clones should be ready to go.
