New Grow: First Journal

Neem works well in veg, but I don't ever use it in flower. It browns your pistils and because it's a pretty heavy oil it won't really wash off after harvest, and leaves your buds with a neem taste.

Thanks Mr. S I haven't seemed to notice, but my weed pallette admitedly is most likely far less discerning.

Not to dispute Shed's sage advice, which I will also use because I always want to do things better, but more just so you don't think you've degraded your bud based on my thoughts if you sprayed in flower already @Kevin 1205...I've had the same 4 strains for about 5 runs now and they've got or not got neem at various stages of bud and they seem to smell and smoke pretty much the same to me.

Right on bro I just didn't want Kevin thinking I might have put his girls off. There will be good stinky bug free weed! Train keep a rollin! :yahoo:

Where’s the net , you have some work to do !

It looks like you have a bit of headroom so you could raise the lights. The others options include supercropping, stem pinching, and tying the tallest ones out (which you don't room for).

I'd supercrop if they were mine.
Yeah I am gonna raise light a little and already started the super cropping , I was kinda in panic mode and did a little searching and read up on it some , just hope I wasn’t too rough

You just flipped, didn't you?

You are looking at the plants at least doubling in size over the next two to three weeks. I think you'll need to make the bends for supercropping a lot closer to ground level. I think you may need to do all the branches. I'd do half in one go, wait two or three days and then do the other half.

Thinking of possibly mylar-ing the walls

yes sir , Christmas Eve , thanks for the input , will do more ,.. these things exploded in growth with the new light , don’t think I have even had it a month ..

@Herb Dean 's first grow journal had supercropping adventures exactly like this, it came off wonderfully! Give him a search I'd link but I'm on the phone...
