PK Perpetual Grow Journal 2020

My new journel. Trying to get nominated and voted for.

The levels I was running was high and I wasn't maxed out on the base nutes yet and sometimes I might add other nutes in flower. Part of the problem was the cal mag with nitrogen and the amount of it I was running up to 150% of a manufacturer's suggested dosage. The TPS cal mag I'm feeding at the manufacturer's suggested maximum dosage. That alone lowered the ppm almost 200. If I would of went that route first I probably wouldn't of needed the ro. As you know Phantom I had to order the calmag from the USA and in the end ups ended up screwing me with brokerage fees. Anyways I have it now so using it.
i think the problems come in when you don't know what exactly is coming out of the city tap water and then when you add multiple different nutrients it will totally change the npk ratios which causes issues.
I guess i am very lucky to have such clean water from the city.

I'll test run the aquaponic with the 2part MC and will see how that will play out. I dropped a seed two days a go into a glass of distilled water and a day later it was at the bottom so, i've got it between a paper towel in a ziploc bag and its between couple cloths. I put it on top of the light ballast. It's a warm place and it should root in few days.

On the last picture i adjusted the camera lighting, but the rest of the pictures is not.
The water levels was below the net pot and the ppm was at 450. Ph was at 6.2.
I've added about half of gallon of tap water into the rez. No nutrients and no z9. The ph was then 6.4 so I adjusted it to ph 5.8 and it took 4ml. in one shot! :high-five:
@InTheShed can you find happy face :laughtwo:
@HashFart here is some pictures ;)

It should always be below the net pot. Your net pot and clay media should not be sitting in water, there should be a gap between the bottom of the pot and water level.
I take you do that to get the roots growing! DOH PK! :laughtwo:

ok water below the net. i also noticed couple roots coming out from the sides of the net

that does make it difficult with the measurements, cuz right now there is only 3 gallon of water in the rez

i know how the plant will end up looking when some measurement is out of place or calculated wrong. lol!

Are you measuring everything per gallon? Why would 3 gallons make it different than 4?

If only there was a calculator for that but you already knew that. ;)
funny you mention that, i knew of the calculator. I just didn't know i had part A cuz in my head and on my account it kept pointing to the one part mc
