still waking up :)

theyre awesome right
so much so i may hace taken delivery of 2x 250w qb288x2 one in 3500k and one in 3000k v2, i sent back the 2 600w blurplebleds i had been using and upgraded lol

plan will be to have one in the veg tent so 2x288 3500k in a 120/60 then put the 3000k and the other single 288 board in the flower area. im already dreading the feeling i might need one more lol but i only plan to cycle 2/3 at a time so essentially 1x288 per plant in flower

Are there protection glasses for these qb lights? It's so freaking bright I can't imagine it's good for your eyes. Seen a few green glasses for the blurple led's but not sure if they work for these bright qb's

I don't believe there are any that let you see "normal color" when you wear them. I'm trying to find a pair of "smoke tint" shooting glasses, to see how they work.
I bought a cheap pair of smoke tint weed eater glasses at Home Depot for $5 and they actually look like nice shades

Have you tried them on the light from the QB's?
I do not have QB's. I have a regular LED. But I wear these glasses everywhere and keep a pair in my vehicles. By the way, weed eater glasses are probably the same as Shooters glasses, they have to be shock resistant. Shooters glasses would probably cost at minimum of $20 while these are much cheaper

Finally got the bloom tent set up. 960 watts of 3000k Quantum Boards.
I am at 610 watts but I do have two BLURPLE lights I could throw in there. That would effectively bring me up to 1180 watts in a 4x4 tent. I also lowered my lights to about 6 inches and there is no sign of heat stress. I held my hand there for a while and while warm, It is not sun beat down on you hot. It's comfortable. I also have an oscillating fan.

Heat isn't usually the issue with the QBs it's light stress

What boards are yers??

300w per flat pan..lol..love the pans by the way ..lol

May be a bit much light for that close.
My qb132 bds pull 75 watts each and do great under 12"

Just keep an eye on em
