Timmy Haha's White Widow Auto DWC Grow

So somehow I got a mini menu to pop up at the end of my post and I was able to add a pic. Lemme try that again.

See what I mean about her being so small? She's a midget compared to the other WW auto grows I'm following right now. She's not even getting frosty yet, but she still looks healthy so I'm going with the flow. Maybe she'll burst out all of a sudden and surprise me someday.

Happy toking everyone and thanks again for following along. I'll have more frequent posts and updates going forward, I promise.

TIM
So glad you're on the mend Timmy! Sorry to hear about all that mate, really rough stuff man. Just keep your chin up, and keep making plans for the future which excite you .

Ages ago when I first started following you we both compared our ww autos and acknowledged that mine was looking like a future example of your own. Since I was about 3 weeks infront.

And I must say, that thesis has held true haha. I think yours will finish looking about the exact same as mine.

This must be a short pheno of the ww autos. Since this has been the only ww auto I've grown with the "short bushy indica dominant, slow flowering" pheno.

Just speculation .

Here is what I think yours will look like. Just harvesting mine in 2 days.

I'm subbed . We're around the same time on our grows. Both autos. Good luck.

Thanks for the encouraging and kind words, Doc and JM! And welcome along for the ride, LilJah!

I'm afraid this is turning out to be a bit of a boring ride as far as exciting changes or updates go. But that's good news, I guess, because it means I'm not having any water or nutrient problems this go-around! :)

Luckily we got through last week's heat wave relatively unscathed it appears. I figure if I had any root problems and resulting nutrient problems from the high water temps in the reservoir, they would have manifested themselves by now. Perhaps the water change over the weekend helped to head some of that off as well. I was pretty concerned a couple of the days when the ambient temp got to 96F in the tent and that was with the front flaps unzipped and open! The water temp was getting close to 82F when I got home from work and could put new ice bottles in the reservoir.

Unfortunately the heat in the tent made me realize that I'm not going to be able to grow, at least hydroponically, for the summer months. That just means I'll have to try a soil grow and see how I like it. I think I'll also do a regular photo-period seed as well. I have a choice between a Super Silver Haze or a Blueberry. Which should I do (remember I only have room for one plant at a time)?!?!

Looking forward to your suggestions!! In the meantime, happy toking all!!
:lot-o-toke:

Here's an uptodate picture. I'd say the stretch is over and she's entered full bloom. Not pictured is my Pineapple Express. Never had this before and I clearly see where the name comes from. Can't wait to try it. Probably 4-6 weeks left on it. Probably 45-60 days left on the WW.

Hey Tom! I got my seeds from Seedsman. So far my experience with their seeds is 50/50. Out of 3 WW photo seeds I started, only one made it (I started it for a friend and just brought her to her new home this past weekend). The Super Lemon Haze seed I started didn't make it and 1 of 2 WW auto seeds didn't make it (the current plant is the one that lived!). However, the C4 Auto that was my first seed and first grow was fine.

Timmy I would grow whichever is a bigger yield. Hope to produce enough you can shut shop down for a month or two during the crazy temps. That's what I'm leaning towards. My bill will sky rocket her before to long.

And I got my seeds from cks. They were newly acquired when I got them a few months ago. It might still say new on their website. Not sure where they get them from. I will say out of the 6 train wrecks and this ww, all my cks beans have germinated and grown. Some much better than others haha.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the size of this particular plant. It can't be more than 6" tall at its highest point, but the buds are definitely getting bigger and even throwing out some new pistils. I plan on doing a water change tomorrow, so I'll take some natural light pics and share them.

In the meantime, enjoy the long weekend all!

I got my WW beans from 420, all of them have germinated but they also all shared this short pheno. Although, I have only grown 2 of them fully now, but the 3rd looks like something new.

So it may apear these ww's are giving us the old single pheno fun for the three of us .

This is what my 1ft WW auto produced in the end, not sure if i got to tell you Timmy but I actually harvested recently!

So I feel the shortness annoyingness, but at least we still get decent nuggage! :)

Day 73 Update

Hey Dr! Congrats on your harvest!!! I'm jealous of even your 1ft height! Mine's even shorter, but you hit the nail on the head when you mention the decent nuggage. This thing is short, but dense!

Sorry to all about not posting my pics last weekend. I ended up not doing a water change until today because the PPMs were still pretty decent and the plant isn't showing any signs of stress. So when it ain't broke, right?!

Anyhoo, decided to do a water change today because it looks like the buds are getting nice and fat now and I wanted to feed her some more bud candy.

Just to keep up with the stats, in case anyone is following them - the nutes added to the 11L of spring water were: 20ml SensiGrow A+B / 15ml Bud Candy / 15ml Big Bud / 15ml B-52 / 15ml Cal-Mag. Water readings: 6.7pH / 71.9F Water temp / 967 PPM.

Now some pics!

Here she is from above:

And this is a side pic. She's only 9.5" tall at the very highest pistil on the tallest stalk:

And here's some random bud porn for ya:

I haven't gotten out my loupe yet to check on the trichomes because I can see in my pictures that they're still pretty clear. I figure I have another two weeks, at least, of potential bud growth and fattening and then I'll start looking for some cloudy and amber trichomes. This may end up being a Fourth of July harvest! That would be fun!!

Happy growing all and thanks for hanging in here with me! And keep toking!

Timmy I could be completely wrong here, so it would be nice if someone with more experience could verify or deny these claims, but those leaves look really dark, which would mean high levels of nitrogen, right? Which is great for veg, but bad for bloom. You might want to look into your nutes and see how many have nitrogen and cut back on some of it. Again, could be completely wrong here, and if I am, I'd love to learn from it haha. Other than that, its looking tasty. How long have you had red hairs going? Mine seems like it fully went into bloom maybe a little over a week ago, but theres a fair amount of red already. She's gotta have another 30-40 days in here, at least I hope! She's got arms everywhere, they're just a little thin right now lol

Day 83 Update

Yikes! I can't believe I haven't updated my journal in 2 months! So sorry gang!!!! Summer has just sucked up all my time. Plus, my girl was so self-sufficient, I didn't have to do any tending or measuring. Things went along so smoothly.

Don't let the title of this post fool you. We're well beyond Day 83, but I thought I'd post some of the pictures I took by date and never uploaded. This is in the interest of keeping a progressive journal. That means I'm about to do a few postings in a row, so hang on for the quick succession of updates!

Here are some pics from Day 83, which was actually June 14, 2017:

These were pics I took to check out the trichomes. You can see they were a good combination of clear and cloudy, but there were no amber. I decided to keep going with the nutes for one more week before starting with the Flawless Finish.

I gave the next feeding on Day 87 (6/18/17). The nutes I added to 3 gallons of spring water were: 20ml SG A+B / 15ml Flawless Finish / 15ml CalMag.

The buds were continuing to fatten up and all was looking good!
