Very First Grow: G13 Haze, White Widow & some bagseed

Generally after the 3rd week up out of the soil, when they are somewhat established. Be gentle on the initial doses and see what and how it does. The MG will phase down over time (45-90 days). what do you have in mind to begin feeding with?

I'm on day 14 of my grow and things are going as planned. the room is starting to really smell like ganga now its great. Here are the latest pics from a few minutes ago.

question for the grow support if you don't mind; how will I know when to start introducing nutes?

^ Hmmmm. That's hard to say... I would definately start out with a very very light dose of nutes after 3 weeks.

Great lookin plants. Very impressive. Keep it up. ;-)

Looking great, alwaysbuzzed!!

I think you should start adding nutes on the next watering. Begin with 1/4 strength "Grow" formula and work your way up. A root stimulator/w micro-nutes (like FF Big Bloom) would be good now as well..

Haven't gotten around to adding nutes just yet. hoping to pick some up this week.

on to the pics. First, as always, are the G-13 haze

my they've come a long way.

so does anyone see anything they would change?
Are they getting too big for their pots?

thanks for looking!

They are doing well.

You might consider wrapping something around those white containers to help keep out the light. Roots don't like the light.

What kind of MG soil are you using, moisture control or organic, something with time released ferts? It's hard to trouble shoot when working with a medium that contains timed release ferts, but as a general rule, the yellowing at the bottom, on a few of those, could be a sign of Nitrogen deficiency. Being you haven't fed them yet, that would most likely be the problem but using medium with time released ferts kinda muddies the waters.

I think you have a little time left in those pots. In the future, you might consider a growing medium that allows you to be more in control of the nutrients. ;)

Looking good so far!!

Harry, good call on the white buckets. I'll take care of that now.

I'm using a combo of MG soils. its primarily their organic soil with a little bit of their germination/seed starter soil mixed in there. nute levels are .1 .05 .05 I'm assuming that translates into 10% 5% 5%. thats off the organic soil bag, I threw out the germenation/seed starter soil bag a while ago.

thanks for the help so far.

I'm going to pick up some nutes today. I'm guessing I can just goto HOme Depot or Lowes and get something with a high Nitrogen content?

I've decided to veg them until the middle-end of Feb or until they are about 16" tall, then begin the flowering. My goal here is to have something by 4/20...

went out this weekend and got some nutes. I was limited in my selection at the home depot but this is what I got...

So far I've only given them two small doses of the stuff. About 1/4 teaspoon mixed with 1.5 liters of water on Saturday and about 1/3 of a teaspoon mixed with 1.5 liters of water this evening.

The plants where looking pretty yellow on Saturday before I fed them. The tops and the bottom leafs looked the worst.
After about 36 hours they started to look better and I'm hoping now that they are getting a decent supply of Nitorgen they will continue to improve.
So here are the picks a couple hours after there last watering with nutes.

You'll see the bottom leaves on almost all of them are pretty bad looking...

My G13-Haze babies... I know I still haven't done anything about the white pots yet.

I think I'm going to wait until I transplant them into their 5 gallon buckets for flowering, unless people think they are going to be root bound in these containers.

I realize this stage isn't the best to look at but I would really appreicate some advice from the experts on my grow. :thanks:

Looking good. Just stay careful with those nutes and add a little tiny more each time and make sure your N def is not moving up the plant. If you see the very tips of the plant get a little crispy then back off a smidgen then you are in the sweet spot. Then we'll have to figure out what to do for flower nutes for you. Good luck!

I plan to track your progress. Mircle Grow is a good product and cheap compared to the expensive stuff in the hydro/garden centers.
