Zee - Durban Relief & Fainting Goat - 2016

Support scrog in place :thumb: you'll be fine with the amount of defoliation Zee, no worries :) you've basically focused the energies to the buds now, leaves help with trichome creation, but you'll have plenty more in a few weeks. I will definitely keep track of these to see if employing the lollipop is effective as people suggest. Keep up the good work Zee, and...

These little girls look amazing so far. What a difference it makes when you take your time with your plants and let them develop.

Ok I got some bud porn to post. Everyone is doing really well. No burns no Herms....atleast so far. I do have one question for everyone and that is when should I switch from the "flowering stage" of my feed Schedual to the "ripening stage"? I'm assuming that would be more towards the end but any insight would be appreciated.

Nice looking plants, and great looking buds!

As for the feeding, I personally ramp up the nutes for two weeks before the flush. For example if a plant goes 8 weeks you would ramp up feedings in weeks 5 and 6( days 28-42) and if a plant goes 10 weeks then ramp up feedings in weeks 7 and 8 (days 42-56)

I hope this helps, happy growing :passitleft:

Awesome advice brother thank you. Just in time too. Both my strains are 10wks and Monday is the start of week 7. Flower was 9/18 so I will start that Monday for two weeks then flush for two weeks?

Yes, think of it as you're giving them the rest of what they will feed on until harvest. I personally made the mistake of not giving nutes long enough and not enough on my first grow and as a result I had to harvest a week early on a few strains. Anyways I just slowly keep upping the nutes each time they receive them until you start to see a slight burn. That will show you how much they can handle

Ok thank you brother I was getting ready to start asking these questions so I appreciate the clarity. As far as upping the nuets I kept them pretty much at 1/3 strength but just recently upped it by a half gallon dose today so I'll do that again Monday then go to 2/3 strength. That should get me through the two weeks I'm using Bontonicares entire line and have been following the chart so we will see. I need just a tad bit more light for my next go round as well. Thanks again bro!

No problem man, and that plan sounds perfect! Just one more thing, keep in mind different strains can handle different amounts of nutes.

And as always, happy growing!

How am I making out Sir?? I always like to check with you brother esp now since I know the next 4 weeks are crucial before lights out. Would you have any other suggestions other then the feeding? Ive heard the old school guys talk about the steak knife in the stalk for extra resin production but I'm not to sure about all that. Anything helps, enjoy your Sunday my friend.

NO STEAK KNIVES, unless your trunk is 4 inches thick. But yes I've heard of some torture techniques to increase res, but let's stick with a healthy harvest.

Everything looks splendid Zee, just keep on the feed schedule and defoliate as necessary to expose major budsites and you'll be at harvest in no time. Great pics brother, that 4k camera is reeaaallly good. :thumb:

. snid if I would have waited for you on something like that anyway but no I had no intention of doing it. I was more curious about the technique bc i was told to stress the plant some towards the end. I decided against bc my plants are just fine. I don't wanna go trying anything in this stage of the game. Not until they're ready to come down. .
