420 Magazine's Canuk Seeds Comparative Indoor Grow - Trainwreck By 2Water

Sorry I'm late. I'm trying to follow as many Canuk Seeds grow journals as possible.

Day 25 since Sprout / Day 18 of Veg

All aboard!!! First things first, I medicated a little too much before lights on and I just had it in my head that they needed watering.... So they were both watered with about a quart each of water with a drop of raw organic unfiltered honey. The reason I use honey is to feed to the "little friendlies" in the soil. I use honey over molasses for 2 reasons: 1) I believe I have sufficient enough sulfur supplied in the amendments I'm running in my soil, and 2) I regularly drink tea with honey anyways😉.

After taking the pictures... and going out to smoke my pipe (yes, I am addicted to nicotine... hi, my name is 2Water....🤣) I started to look at the pictures and noticed a slight leaf tip curl. I'm going to let them dry back a little a go from there. Other than that, nothing else has changed and they appear to have managed the topping.

So ladies, gentlemen, and whatever pronoun you prefer to go by; without further ado....

I plan to take cuts and start quadlining these girl this weekend. Whichever cut, of each plant, that roots fastest will be potted into thier own 5 gallon fabric pot to grow untrained. I am almost sad to train these girls because I am falling in love with how crazy Trina looks.

Finish Day 27 since sprout / Day 20 of veg

I'm seeing 2 distinct phenos since topping last week. I started bending the top 4 nodes on Tabi on the the right

Any thoughts on how long you’re gonna veg? CL🍀. :morenutes::high-five:

Day 28 since sprout / Day 21 of veg
part 1 of 2

Lights on and one week since being topped these girls are chugging along. The #phlizon p200 is doing wonders for these girls in veg

#6 - Trina's side growth been crazy, #7 - Tabi is strechier. It is fun to see 2 plants of the same strain grown in the same media and environment can respond so differently. I love these plants!

#6 - Trina
I got to say, Tabi was my favorite at first, but seeing Trina's side growth has me fascinated and I think she looks beautiful!

part 2 of 2

#7 - Tabi
She has been stunning out the gate, I have started bending her top 4 nodes and will do so until they get a bit longer, and then I'll tie them down to maintain an even canopy

I am really impressed so far with these 2 #canukseeds Trainwreck, looking forward to when I can taste the fruits of my labor! Did a few stem rubs earlier, a little skunky with a hint of citrus. Both smell the same, but #6 Trina just has a little extra.

Watered both with about half a gallon of water with 1 drop of honey. Now to let them wake up and get to growing!

Solid plan you have there my friend, look 👀 forward to seeing it unfold. Happy growing broski. CL🍀

Day 31 since Sprout/ Day 24 of Veg

Haircut day! I have an addiction to pruning and I have been sitting on my snips waiting for the right time😉 Well, decided they could use a little "airing out" so I took the 4 fan leaves from the top 2 nodes of each plant.

#6 - Trina really doesn't even look like I took anything off of her!

I noticed a little burn on the top most tips, I lowered the lights down to 8. I like to run the full power and let the plants grow, but I have more height in my flower tent, so didnt want to train them too short. VPD is now 1.2

Sorry, I forgot to snap some before pictures, but you can get the idea from a couple days ago😉

End of day 34 since Sprout / Day 27 of Veg

Gave both girls a full watering today, about 1 gallon each with 1/2 tablespoon or raw organic unfiltered honey. The canopy is really starting to even out, and I may just flip them tomorrow🤔.

I've tied down the top 2 nodes on Tabi (right plant), but haven't done much to Trina. I will give them thier weekly IPM at lights out and then enjoy my weekend

Your girls are looking really nice :)
Thank you, they have been a very easy grow, and are making me look like a way better grower than I am. I switched a couple things up this grow, I added biochar and azomite to my soil mix, and changed my amendments that I use to Down To Earth: 3-3-3, Bio-Live, and Bio-Fish premixes. I also use less honey, but add it to every watering. Pretty great results so far, we'll see as we switch to flower🤞

I wish I had more than just the 2, but even 3 would have probably been too crowded.
