Chinnubie's 2nd Shot at 2 Fem Purple Kush

So these clones have decided to outgrow the veg box we got to veg plants before we put them in flower. What an awful predicament to be in are likely, I have a feeling, the comments that may be written and for the most part, that would be a fair assessment. At the same time it does pose a bit of a security problem, unable to hide them quick enough if a building owner needed to get into the apartment on a last- minute issue of some kind.

The PK is coming along beautifully and honestly couldn't ask for a better controlled indoor closet grow. I would have liked to let them stay in veg longer but we need medicine pronto to keep from getting robbed by the element that is associated with illegal substances. In almost all cases they sell additional substances other than the sought-after wonder weed. Technically getting weed on the street means your subsidizing the other-than cannabis substances.

I've got some pics of the girls to update the grow from yesterday:

Regarding the Ferguson Riots, a trash can/dumpster area was destroyed and for the life of me I can't figure out why, not to mention, turning over the clothes recycle bin. WHY??? I grew up in Ferguson and rode my bicycle on the same road Mike Brown was shot and killed and I'll wait until the evidence has been given to the Grand Jury before I make any kind of decision as to what happened.

Small World isn't it?

We've tied one of the clones branches down to help slow her somewhat and bring up lower node branches to try and create a canopy. The smaller clone will probably need to be tied as well, but the topping I gave her did an okay job of slowing her down a little bit. The 12/12 girls are going great and hopefully, in roughly 4 weeks we'll be able to harvest then get the mediwana in the closet to put them in 12/12. With the longer veg time we'll be able to make a nice canopy and if things go well I may be able to put a scrog net on top of them. I'm just thinking out loud and trying to plan for the future.

The only complaint I have ever heard about a scrog is when different strains in the same scrog need different harvest times.
When they grow together, they harvest together !

Hey Chinnubie, the flowers are looking good on Laverne and Shirley and the clones are growing nicely. Hang in there on the meds my friend, Medi1 is just a couple of weeks from chop.

Hey Chinnubie, hope you had a great holiday. You can fill the closet with the clones easily. A little trick I picked up from the Professor, when you put the clones in the closet, put them under flower bulbs but 18/6 for about a week or so and then flip to 12/12 and they should get a jump on making flowers and resin. I'm going to do it with my next flower run in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to some bud porn.

The mediwana clones have gone bat-shit crazy so much so that I've had to take two lights off of them to help slow them down until we are 2 weeks from Laverne & Shirley getting harvested. Best guess for the harvest would be end of month or the last Saturday in September. Next weekend we'll put the full light back on them to get them ready to go into the flower room. After doing this up to now my son has suggested we do one plant at a time giving more time to veg, which will probably achieve the same quantity for the amount of space and lighting we have on the plants. The whole point is to get as many node branches up to the light to make a flower, therefore one plant with more node branches than two plants with less makes it a lot easier to grow just two plants at a time. One will fit beautifully in the veg box but two is overcrowding making it difficult to grow them to their fullest potential when you have to back off light keeping them from developing the way you had imagined.

Laverne & Shirley are going great and with no forseeable roadblocks, should be harvested sometime during the last week of the month or possibly the first week of October. I'm so looking forward to smoking those buds. I'll get pics this weekend of their 36 days in flower and show these crazy clones busting out of the veg box. Thanks to all of you for the "likes" it's much appreciated.

Rado I think you are reading my mind or something, every time you post I always say, exactly what I was thinking! Anyway here's some pics of Laverne because I could get her out of the closet and take normal color pictures. Shirley's branches are too long to drag her out so I left her in the closet. This plant Laverne has grown so darn perfect, I'd like to see how she'd do in plant of the month, but with this time of year and outdoor harvests I have no real chance. I'll get clone pics later this week and I'm sure most could imagine overflowing plants out of a veg box, almost to the point of having to take them out and expose them to the world, really increasing my chances of the wrong person seeing them. We've done a pretty good job slowing them down so hopefully by next week we'll get them going full strength again.

About three weeks from bud porn, woo hoo!!!

Looking great Chinnubie.

AWESOME! Hell-of-a-job Chinnubie. I definitely can see the difference in lighting types. Your flowers blow mine away dude. Just think of the possibilities with more grow room and better lighting. "Keep The Green Side Up" my friend.:goodjob: :bravo:

A medical law wouldn't hurt either, to allow me to branch out a little more if you know what I mean. Anyway thank you for the compliment your colas are gonna be awesome just you wait and see. You suck chopping down a flowered out plant the day before my birthday. I still gotta wait another couple of weeks, although we took the lower branches on Shirley and cleaned up some other parts of some branches and dried them out, not fully matured, were still tasty and good. This will be some potent smoke fully cured. I got an extra day off so I might get some pics and we are going to attempt getting the cfm fan off the ground to allow for more room when the clones go to flower.

Here are the updated pics of the clones and Laverne. The PH issues are pretty evident and the clones won't have those problems because I've taken care to make sure the Ph is correct.
