If you haven't already solved the bottle issue, try recycling some old shampoo bottles or plastic water/soda bottles, or anything similar. What about the bottles from your other nutes once they're used up? Use a funnel to transfer from the larger bottles to the smaller.
thanks, I'll update in a few...things aren't so good...I screwed up.
I haven't solved it yet, thanks for the ideas, this far I've been storing them under my table and just picking them up when I need them...I'm using an eye dropper type suction thing that will draw up to 3ml at a time, until I use enough for that to be too short to reach the liquid inside I'll be ok. I've been so busy I just haven't gone shopping...something I hate to do anyway.
Wow, this week is slipping away from me quick. Sorry for my absense the last few days...long w/e at the track seems to put me off my norm for days.
Let me start by saying a special thanks to our VETS... I love and appreciate all the service and sacrifice you make on my behalf.
I'll start this update with the latest (bad) news...while cleaning my veg room yesterday I must have somehow messed up the light/timer...the light didn't come on this morning when expected. I've been using the GLR schedule in my veg room, I can't be sure the light came on last night when it was suppose to either (between 3-4am) actually I'm pretty sure it didn't. Not sure exactly what has happened in there
???How bad is this??? Can I just go back to 24/0 for a while and hope for them not to flower?
The other bad news...I think I'm gonna ditch the Pineapple Express. She's so weak and wimpy looking. I can't seem to fix the problem and I have a couple others I'd like to try, with limited space she's the one to cut
Here's a couple pics of this problem child
Her overall appearance is wimpy, her leaf stems are weak and she shows definate signs of nute/pH/lockout... something...she's not happy
You can see her new growth is weak
and some of her leaves show the nute problems, I've flushed and carefully adjusted her feed/pH, but no luck
The Group shot in veg shows just how limited my space has become, I'm gonna have to move/change some things in here soon...I think after I harvest I may use the flower room to veg thru the summer, it's twice as big, and I could put 2 more lights without increasing the temp too much for the space. The veg room now runs a nice 72-75 degrees and 65-70% humidity consistantly, I think more light in there would create too much heat, there's no ventilation from that room
The seedlings I'm LST'ing are getting big, here's some various shots of them in training
Blue Widow, popped 4-13, her growth is really tight and she's becoming hard to tie...growing tip...top view, she's growing kinda twisted...I think it's all the training and tucking I've been doing
After 2 days of no training, notice the bend in her growing tip
opposite side view
After some training
Northern Lights x Big Bud, popped 4-11
top view, she's really full and lush looking
This tie is holding the nub of stem that was left when I broke her growing tip, you can see the two tips that replaced it are growing quite well and will get tied down soon
Her new growing tips
After training...she's very dense
Ok, on the flowering side Wonder Woman and Pineapple Express are close to harvest, and it can't be a day too soon, the heat here is really messing with my flower rooms climate. I may end up with another batch of nasty smoke.
I forgot the group shot but here's some bud porn for ya
Wonder Woman @ day 64, her trics are about 35-40% amber (actually more the color of molasses) they got their last watering yesterday...I'll let them dry for several days and then cut them down
Sqwheels, yes! Go back to GLR or any normal veg schedule. The couple of days hopefully won't be too bad and they'll go back into veg (if they ever got out!) rather quickly since they've probably not started to fully flower yet. You usually won't really risk a hermie unless you interrupt the dark cycles on your flowering plants. Just make sure the plants are really vegging and putting off new growth w/ 5+ fingered leaves before you put them into flower.
Thank you...I love that WW. Her nugs are so dense and covered with trics. She isn't too strong smelling...unless you touch her, then you can really smell the pine/spice and she's sooo sticky...
Thanks for the info...I thought they would be ok. They only had 1 night...and full 12 hours of dark, I was here and on top of it this morning when the light didn't come on. I'm pretty sure I did it while cleaning yesterday. I'll leave them in a 24/0 cycle for a few days and then go back to GLR. They won't see flower until fall.
I did something similar this last week. But I had hit the switch by the door and turned off the timer under glr routine w/o knowing it. Not sure how long the lts were off. Maybe 24hrs. But I just turned it back on to glr and set the time correct. They seem to be just fine.
My HPS for some reason didn't want to turn on in the mornings and I would have to unplug it for an hour or 2 and then try it again and it would work. I figure it was the extra start-up wasn't giving it enough off time but it just did it to me again today and it's been on 12/12 for almost a week. In retrospect should have just used the CFLs for the hour like 12/12 said in the first place. But I digress.. My point... There were at least a dozen days that I didn't get to the light for an hour or 2 then let it sit for a couple hours and my plants are still doing great and I have not seen a single sign of Herms yet. I figure if anything that would stress them having such irregular days like that would.
Wow, that's irregular alright. It'll be interesting to see what happens when you switch to flower cycle. I'd watch for hermies then for sure....but it's good to know that so far you've not seen any ill effects. When I switch to 12/12 I usually see signs of flower after about a week, I think you got lucky.
Yep, I cut her out that day. She was just taking up space...I replaced her with a couple Wonder Woman clones that got roots in the little yogurt cups of water, they're in 4" squares now. The seedlings...NLxBB and BW are getting really big had to make some space. I'll tell more in my update...gotta upload pics first
Questions for ya. Roughly how tall have your wonder woman clones been before you throw them into flower? How much have they been stretching once in flower?
