Starting From Zero

Well I woke up at 3 am this morning and was wide awake after a sub par 4hours of sleep. So I took a couple of hits of kush mintz and proceeded to defoliate before the lights went out. I also top watered with recharge because the reservoirs were dry as a bone.
I took a majority of undergrowth off of the girls, including fan leaves and growth that would never see the light of day. I also spritzed the clones with a light mixture of seaweed extract because they were sagging a little bit.
Clones, the one with yellowing top is about 10 days post chop
Pre defoliate
Post defoliate, doesn't seem like I made a dent
Blueberry 49 days above ground, 9 days post flip
Wedding Crasher 49 days above ground, 9 days post flip
Purple Haze 42 days above ground, 9 days flower

I am developing a problem with @North Atlantic Seed Co because every time I get on their site I find a strain I didn't know I wanted to grow haha my plan is to start one of these in 3ish weeks in the the mother tent and a Wedding Crasher clone (fingers crossed they live) and create moms with them.
I need a strain that doesn't put me down as I am a generally calm and non hyper person. If I smoke any kind of indica dominant type weed it puts me down hard as I become puddle of nothingness even after just 2 or 3 hits lol. So green crack has always been a strain I go to if I can find it, and Royal Queen Seeds had this cross and it sounds delightful. Can't wait to get them and get em in the ground.

I started from zero too, November 2022. Tonight I have 72 plants under lights, 58 in flower.
4am starts and some cheeky Green Crack Punch today, by summer you’ll be living in a tent in the garden because there’s plants in every room.

Bahaha my wife just saw my mini mother tent this morning and said and I quote "Are you shitting me two tents now!? We talked and you said two plants at a time because you wanted it for your personal stash and that was it. What's going in the little tent?" Too which I answered, "Well don't be mad but there's actually 3 plants in the big tent and 4 clones in the small tent, but I did bring your aloe plant back to life in the small tent." Unfazed by the aloe plant resurrection she just laughed and said, "fucks sake I'm about to be working in a grow room after you take over my office aren't I!?" I told her about a couple of grow journals I was following, and how they have these elaborate grow rooms. She just gave me the, I know that this hobby is going down the rabbit hole look, and just walked away lol so the grow office is still in the air. She may be fiery but she's decently accepting of all my hobbies even though she's sober as a jay bird and doesn't get the joy in growing.I started from zero too, November 2022. I'm stuck outta town so this is the only view of the girls I got. I'm assuming they're taller bc they don't all fit in the picture lol.

Wow, I haven't had a chance to go through your whole grow yet, but very well done! Light years ahead of me a year ago! Can't wait to fully catch up and watch the finish!

Well after freezing my ass off for work today it was nice to work in my mini tropical oasis.
The tents looking rather full but still void of a puffy bud. Raised the lights back up to 12" away from the canopy, because the stretch is real. Everyone is super happy, but the purple haze is growing weird on about three colas.

The canopy is staying about the same height at 16".

The shorter cola's stems are larger around and are putting 2 nodes practically touching with a third node opposite and just a hair above it.
This one is curling in on itself.

Also I got my "bonsai" pots in for my mini mother house. Just waiting on my green crack punch seeds to come in and a Wedding Crasher clone to root. The clones have "custom" made humidity domes lol by custom I mean Gatorade bottles I cut the top off.

Just be careful with the light, back it off as much as you can because the plants will fill that space in a week you let them!

Thank you! I can't believe someone nominated me, I look at all these other journals and I don't think mine compares. I got tons of ideas and help just reading other members journals.
Lol o these mothers are going to look like small landscaped bush by the time I'm done with them, or for now that's the plan.
I’ve had that plan about 200+ times. Only achieved it 3 times and then only growing in tiny pots 
On the journal thing - not every journal is for the same “market” Seeing someone start from zero is mega useful to loads of people the market for people to find it useful is huge. Journals are all there to be the “best” at any given skill - they’re meant to be fun and interesting.
Cross pollination of ideas too.

Well I should have taken @NickHardy advice and been like &Co. and stayed clear headed while defoliating. The more the weed set in on me the more snips I made haha I felt like Edward scissor hand. I was afraid I over did it but when I took a pic from the top it didn't look to bad. I really cleaned up a lot of the middle of the plants.

Yeah that’s a great job. We have gone way way more bare naked ladies than than that! & Co’s nickname is the Demon Barberess - a sort of fury comes over a her, hands a blur the piles of fans mount at her feet…
