White Russian soil grow from seeds

Wow. I wish i had that shot in a 1024 format so i could use it as a background. Freaking goregous.

gorgeous berry!

Is it the purplemax causing the purpling or is this a strain with purpling pheno characteristics? Maybe colder temps?

Thank you billy and burn...I took a couple more pics this morning and sprayed lighly with neem oil. I looked at the plants an hour later and shook them and saw no bugs. I think if I do one more application they will be gone. I gave a light mist and the plants were dry very quickly, and since I did it 1 hour after the lights came on I dont really think mold will be a problem.

I saw some Hot Shot Pest Strips at the store today. Didnt get them, just because I think the neem will be able to take care of the whiteflies. But on the back of the lable it said to not use around anything that is grown to be eaten. One of my boys has 2 of them in a bloombox, would that cause a health hazard smoking buds that were grown around them?...I just wanna know so I can help him out.

I gotta friend over now, and I gotta do some renovations to the vent system in the grow room, ill post some pics when they are done. Ill also fill you in on the Purplemaxx and how I am using it.

Peace for now. :peace:

I would assume that with the pest strips that the only way the chemicals inside would transfer to the plant would be through water running over it and into soil. Im also assuming they label this with a warning due to someone who had the brilliant idea to put it on the soil near the stem of their outdoor tomato plants to keep away the insects and just poured water over it to feed. This, obviously, may lead to the chemical going into the root system and possibly ending up in some poor fools tomato. Anything designed to kill anything else alive i would be cautious with. Neem oil is organic. Hot Shot Pest Strips arent.

Haha, im a stoner and actually did buy the test strips. This is what they say on them. This is what it says on the back..."do not use in food/feed processing or food/feeding manufacturing or food/feed service establishment."
Does a include a grow closet?? :hmmmm:
It says for use in closets the closet must be kept closed(mine cant be), and it should not be in a closet that infants, children, or the sick or aged are for an extended period of time. Well, im good in that department, im mid twentys.

I dont think that the pest strips would hurt the plants if they are just hanging in the room. There is good ventilation, its yellow, what the flies are attracted to.

I did a major Renovation of the grow room, and it is awesome. Got ducting going all over the place, but the temp is at 78 constant right now, unlike the 85 it was jumping to earlier. When I took the plants out, I got to inspect them really well, and they are looking unbelievable. I took pics so Ill have them on soon.

Peace guys! :peace:

i wouldnt fear the strips but i would try to keep them away from your plants. If you can keep them at the other side of your grow area, im confident in saying youll be fine.

Yeah, i got some pics coming. It took me a while to change the grow room around, but now its some crazy work. I really outdid myself this time. It still smells outside my house though...:hmmmm: But not too bad.
I actually got creative with my photoshop and got some good macros and everything. Ill explain em when I post em.

About the Purplemaxx...The official name is "Humboldt County's Own Purplemaxx Snow Storm" 100% organic. It says it contains organic acids and amino acids. This is what it says on the back of the bottle.

"This product has been developed for over 2 years under the name of STACKER. We discovered a combination of organic compounds that would not only encourage plants to "stack" their flowering sites closer together during early flower production, but would also increase resin production later. Plus it would increase the girth of primary flowers, add mass and stimulate extreme crystallization in resin producing plants. Earlier this year when we were trying to optimize a feeding regimine using Gravity and Stacker that would lead to even more extreme results when 2 of our beta testers out of the hills reported that stacker caused their plants to turn dark purple."

This is still an experimental product actually. I believe it has worked on one of my plants and since I started using it at week 5 I cant wait to see what it will do if I use it the whole time. I am also using their product Gravity too.

Pics posted whenever approved.

The pics are approved, I just dont have time to post em yet.

I did take a good look at all the WR's today. I would say that 3 and 4 are ak-47 dominant. they have 1/2 and 1/2 orange and white hairs. 3 Doesent smell like much right now but 4 gives an aftersmell of like strawberrys or something. Both plants are frosty, but not as frosty as the other 2.

I think 5 and 10 are more white widow dominant. 10 I think is my favorite so far, it has dense buds, covered in crystals and less orange pistils than 3 and 4. 5 of course's top is turning purple as you can see. Also less orange pistils, and the color of the leaves are much darker green than the others, but still covered in crystals. I can see the balls at the end of the tricrome stalks with my naked eyes, and pretty easially at that.

I gotta run fellas. Ill get on later, you know it!

Thanks Urdedpal, they do look much better than last grow but I learned I need to give more grow big next time during flowering. I hardly gave any this time.
Here is the good thing that I found today...one of my plants colas is:adore: STARTING TO TURN PURPLE:adore:. I started using the Purplemaxx 9 days ago, with their third dose being last Sunday. Dont know if the purpling is going to continue through the whole plant, but all of the plants have become more frosted. I am going to up my doses of carboload to 1 1/2 tsp from now to harvest too.
Here is the pic I took today, sorry its so big ans somewhat blurry but you can see the purple for sure.

I have also decided to give them some grow big as well next watering, just a 1/4 dose, the fan leaves are yellowing so fast.

This is sooo fun watching these things mature!!

Peace for now...enjoy.

man that is some nice work..

Sorry guys, havent had time recently to post the pics with Thanksgiving today, but I garantee ill get em up soon.

Ok, so I drive up to my house driveway today, get out of the car and...bam...the smell hit me hard. As I walked to the door, the smell got worse, definately smelling like fresh MJ. But, as you walk in to the house, the smell goes away. The reason for this I believe is that I have 2 fans blowing air into the attic which seeps outside...The air is carbon filtered, but not well enough eventually. Serious Seeds did say this plant smelled extremely strong. This is definately making me a little paranoid, but I only got like 16 days left or something to harvest. I do believe that I am going to change the room again after this grow...I would really like to keep the closet door closed all the time...so I can have the 12/12 cycle at any time, because the AC will need to be on all 12 hours to cool the hood, also meaning I need to get a smaller light and better vent...Thinking about a 600W air cooled cylinder hood, and getting a light mover. And figuring out that to do with the smell.
Do you think I should just vent the filtered air(that still reeks!) back into the room instead of the attic?

Peace!

put an ozone generator in yr attic

That is a good idea man, i have an ozone generator...but the last time I used it inside it made my nose bleed and shit, definately not a good thing for someone to breathe in, but if its in the attic...? I might give it a shot, at least for these last 2 weeks.

Now for some pics...

Ok, thats all I got for you now...More individual pics on Monday, day 57 flowering. I was bored last night and did take a few macros...Ill throw them on here soon.

:grinjoint:

Nice clean setup berry, hope that ozone gen keeps the smell down for ya... can't believe it gave a nosebleed, def means it was doing something. Should work pefect keeping it in the attic.....
Have you taken a lil' test nugg yet?:grinjoint:

nice setup, using the ozone in the attic is a good idea..you dont want to lose it all now!

Im hoping to cut mine by day 57 of flower, your going 10 weeks with this baby right?

You are absolutely right, I am letting mine go for the whole 70 days. Wanna see how much fatter they get toward the end of it. The ozone generator in the attic was a great idea, I got home from work tonight and didnt smell a thing. I dont smell the funky chlorine smell that it gives off either.

Yeah spence, the generator definately works. Before I would just turn it in the house if people were coming over, and thats when the nose started bleeding. It kind of feels like the air is thin like your in the mountains or something, but its all good now that its in the attic. And I only have to use it for the last few weeks, ill be straight...

Nasty macros posted when ever they are approved.
