Drcannabi's - White Russian - Recycled Organic Soil - LED - Teas & Foliar

Dang my friends, I thought I responded to everyone and just realized it didn't happen. In my defense, I am just starting to smoke again after a long layoff and I'm going through that dumbass phase again lol. So let's try this again except I'll click the submit button

I been wanting to run the white for a hot minute! One of these days...I'm in the P pretty often...kickin it up in that little Bavarian town in Washington for the summer if you find yourself up this way, also....thanks for the props man but I'm over here combing through your stuff looking for tips haha! Love the 420 atmosphere over all the forums I roll on. So much support and respect always. 100! Can't wait to see some cured nug shots!

Hiya Triggle! I know of this town you speak of. In fact my parents frequent it every summer. They go for the story telling seminars lol! If you see a couple old farts bitching about the price of everything and driving a Lincoln Town car, say hi lol!

The white is amazing! I can only imagine what you could do with her. She is perfect for crossing with sativas. Most The White crosses are the first to sell out. Let's make this happen!

Congrats on the harvest brother! That strawberries and cream is a beauty. Love the trich shots.

Thank you Blaze! Nothing like your plants, I really screwed this grow up, but I can tell you 100% the quality is even better with the stress lol. Too bad cause the yield really suffered.

+reps brother. Very nice job my dude. Killer report on some killer bud.
Hugs from mine to yours.

And love from mine back to yours brother! I've got two little cheesecakes poking their tiny little heads out of some way too wet soil. I can't believe I planted them in such a swamp but they shot through never the less. I'm stoked for these. Hopefully I'll get a girl.

drc..I wash my buds in about 75-80F and rinsed in cool 50sF (using lemon juice and baking soda like Doc Bud ;))
like in nature...
Im not trying to blanch 'em. :)

Thanks Ziggs! That makes such great sense. Noted and that's where I'll start. Do you use the hot/warm water on the first or second bucket?

SnC looks to die for. Thanks for the awesome journal drc. reps+ my friend. I'm looking forward to following your Budmaster grow.

Thanks for the reps Budley! Great to have you following along. I think I told you before, I know a few growers from your area and they are some of the best!

Beautiful S&C bud pics, love the colors. :well done: Excellent smoke & munchie reports. I'm well known at 2 nearby bakeries.:high-five:

lol! Yeah I know the baker at my local Safeway by name hehehe. Thanks for the vibes on the SnC. I keep threatening to grow a sativa and I've got 2 trainwrecks in the flower tent at the moment. Does that count as a sativa? She's Mexican, Colombian and Afghanistanian lol. It's the weirdest smelling plant I've ever grown. Like a super apple-lime-pez type of smell. Almost makes me sneeze lol.

I missed the boat, but I'm loving what I see! At least I'll be around for the finish and your next round.
:bravo: SnC looks amazing!

Hi major and welcome! I'm glad you're here. I'm amazed at your outdoor plants. The next journal is going to be awesome. I'll be growing rare dankness venom og under Budmaster lights using AutoPots and So-Hum soil lol. I'm not supposed to have to do anything. Just add RO water and go on vacation lol. Sounds like fairytale to me. We're going to find out.

Hey there Doc - reps and congrats on your harvest and early smoke report.. fantastic home run, colors are fantastic... plants look beautiful all the way to the end. I wish you many many more harvests. :Namaste:

Step back away from the cream sickles and save a few for me brother.. man they are one of my favorite munchie foods specially on a hot summer day...they make em raspberry and orange/raspberry swirl here in my parts too! Can get em from the local weed errr Ice Cream Truck. hahaha

Send me an invite to your new journal when you get it going please?

lol! Step away from the Creamsicles hahaha. When you get the magnetic pull, it's impossible to step away lol! I did find a healthier alternative. I got some whole grain low salt crackers and some spicy avocado hummus. I'm not sure it saved me any calories because I ate the whole freakin box and a quart of dip. Tonight I cleared the house and only have vegetables and some ranch.

Thanks everyone for visiting my neck of the woods!

+Reps! Amazing smoke report and buds! :thumb::bravo:

Hi Pinky, I just missed you. Thanks so much for the reps and the kind words. I'm getting better but I can never leave good enough alone. I'm constantly on to the next best thing. One of these days I'll slow down enough to get consistent lol!

drc, I finish with a rinse with cooler H2O than the start..:)

Thanks Ziggs! I appreciate the info. Bud washing is totally new to me. Since my bucket never got dirty I thought I was doing something wrong. But I think knock most the dirt off them with my foliars! :thanks:

Do you notice that the first buckets water is pale green when you're done with a plant? That's what mine does. Seems to wash some chlorophyll out. I used a little extra baking soda and lemon juice though. Rather that than the peroxide. I had PM though. So needed to make the contents of the first bucket quite caustic.

Has anyone noticed oily liquid on your buds at end of daily light cycle. It seems my oil is heating up and pooling in a few spots. I'll get some shots in am. My Temps are under 79 but 400 watt MH bulb is under 8 inches from top buds. I do not feel any heat stress on back of hand but my leafs that were frosty are no longer frosty. Any thoughts?

Cheers

[h=1]Guttation[/h]

The loss of extra water in liquid drops from margins of leaves of herbaceous plants when root pressure is high and transpiration is low.

  • This process is very common during warm humid nights.

  • This process occurs in plants growing in high soil moisture.

  • It occurs through specialised pores called hydathodes present near the vein endings.

Awesome, makes sense now, most all fans are gone and I could see how this works.

I haven't noticed that. The water is pretty much just clean water with some small leaves that come off. I use a foliar IPM 2x a week that really seems to clean the buds like a good rain. I do like the idea of waking because of the foliar feeding I do. If I didn't do so much foliar feeding, I don't think I'd wash at all. The buds sure do seem to dry out more evenly after washing.

Very cool discussion. I've never witnessed this myself but I could definitely see this happening in the PNW. Specially with the hot days and high humidity we've had lately. :circle-of-love:

Non to shabby my friend :)

Can't believe I almost forgot you LA! Thanks brother. Thank you all the way from over the pond and all the way to the West side of the US lol.

Killer grow brother, that S&C looked amazing. I could use the munchies at times, and so she might be an 8 for me - thanks for that detailed report. I have the Cough in the SSD now, and I'm wondering if she'll send me to the hunger games as well. She has that ammonia cat pee berry smell too.

Can't wait for the next one, drop that link brother :circle-of-love:

Now that I know what to look for I've seen it more. When I trim off fans it seems to happen more. I'm told that's how you burn your leaf tips after giving ferts. When your plant deposit water on leaf tip full of nutes water evaporates and leaves the salts from your nutes and those salts are what burns your tips.

Cool,

Cheers

Will do for sure CareStaker!

The SnC gets her heaviness from The White S1. Not sure where the munchies come from because I don't turn into the cookie monster on The White S1. The SnC is for sure AWESOME for cancer patients and poor appetites.

First grow with her she finished at exactly 8 weeks and yielded over 5 zips. The last grow I really stressed her in lots of ways and took her down at 54 days. Not ideal. She reeks too. Carbon filters are a must.

I think the munchies and the cat piss smell come from the strawberry cough. I don't detect any of those traits with The White. You just might get your munchie on with that SSD lol!

Interesting, I've never seen it myself. Good indicator of over fertilization with the burnt leaf tips. Man I sure stressed my ladies out this round.

I'm going to chop that big ol White Russian tonight. I'll be surprised if it doesn't out yield the rest of the group. Solid big buds. Nothing special in the frost department but no slouch either. I swear the WR smells like bubble gum? Just like regular big league chew lol!

So tonight we both chop the last Mohicans!

Oh I love bubble gum smell in flowering, one of my Ultra Dogs last season had it very strong by the end. Typically it will transform into something else in curing :thumb:

I'm really enjoying this plant. She's coming down tonight. Very nice buds with some foxtailing and a nice bit of frost. Quite a bit of amber in her now so she should be nice and relaxing. I doubt her potency will be anything special, but after the last few strains, I need something that isn't a wipe-out!

Where might I acquire some wifi beans good sirs?

Hi there SN. Welcome to my yard :). WiFi has been unavailable for at least a couple years. I've been hording my seeds since I bought them in 2014. There are a few crosses with it, but none that match the magical blend of the two original parents. I'm not sure why no one has tried to replicate OGRs works because those seeds flew off the shelf. Start looking for crosses with Fire OG and a heavy indica (BCBD - Animal Cookies comes to mind). There are folks here that have grown it and rep it big time! :welcome:

Hey Dr! How's things in the PNW? :circle-of-love:
Bob ;)

Hi Bob! Things are great here brother. Glad you're back and didn't get eaten by a griz! lol!!!:rofl::rofl:
