420 Magazine Comparative Grow With Seedsman Seeds And Jungle Joe

After I watered with the bio-fizz whatever you call it zyme stuff yesterday, the top of the soil is growing white fuzz. Awesome. That's exactly what I wanted. The soil is alive!

The lower leaves sitting on the soil got a bit damaged, probably from watering with the lights on. Oh well, I was going to remove those anyway.

I squeezed the stems a bit to start training them to run almost parallel to the ground, just rising slightly overall. That's the plan... we'll see how that goes 😂

And finally, I added some more mulch to cover up the mycelium... or is it mycorrhizae, or mycorrhizal fungi? Or is it trichoderma? :lot-o-toke:

I like the amendments you're giving to the soil Joe, good looking stuff!
Thanks Stunger, I'm really happy with it at this point in time, the soil already had plenty of goodness in it, but I just can't help trying to make it better. It all adds to the soil food web... as long as you don't overdo it.

She's really starting to take off now. I squeezed the stems again and raised the light a bit as well. Looks like maybe a little bit of light burn, I was blasting it pretty hard, up close, to keep her short and squat.
The mycorrhizae is all over the top of the soil.

I made some hook things out of wire to hold the branches down. It's just a 6in piece of wire with a little bend.
I'm going away for a few days over the weekend and should be back early next week.
What's great is that I'm not concerned at all to leave things for a while, and I don't need anyone to check anything because it's all automated. I just need to give her a good soaking before I leave, and close the door. The extractor fan keeps the airflow and temperature in check, if it gets to 28c in the tent the speed goes up automatically. The humidity is controlled by a sensor in the tent, over 65% - humidifier off, under 60% - humidifier on.
Nothing else to do but sit back and wait for buds... too easy mate. (Fingers crossed and wishful thinking that it'll be an easy ride 😜)

I'm back.
After driving over 30 hours in the last few days, I'm pretty knackered.
But enough about me, we're here to see how it's going with the Purple Ghost Candy after a week.
I just got done looking at our lady in the tent, and she looks absolutely fine. Growing like a champ 🏆
I knew there wouldn't be a problem.
Famous last words...
If I had left the hook things where they were, they would have hurt the stem more than they already have.

A timely save....

Only to then chop, crush, bend, and wham bam thankyou ma'am the poor thing is lying there all dazed!
Meh, she'll get over it 😂

Anyway, I'm running on empty, so I'll smell you later 😜
