Akaman's Better Late Than Never 12/12 Grow

A very nice plant! Looks a lot like one of the first I grew, not many branches, but a lot of little buds popping up... you'll have yourself a nice personal sized haul.

Thx Vapornation, I knew the yield wasn't going to be that great, after all I am using cfl's , but I was just hoping for a bunch of budsites so I'm happy. Thx for checkin me out:thumb:

Lookin good! She looks like she'll be a treat! Time to watch her get nice and fat.

hey thx VOJ, that's all I spend my time doing now, watching and looking. It's like watching a pot, waiting for the water to start boiling. I'm using the SSU so I'm hoping for frosty buds. I got talked out of using the Gravity:laughtwo::cheesygrinsmiley:
so we'll see what happens come wk 4 and beyond,:Namaste:

Just caught your grow journal man, it looks like your doing great and learning/teaching quite a bit as well. It's so cool to watch it unfold and I just wanted to say thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see the final cured product. One thing I have learned that seems to work great are worm castings. They are 100% organic and they have a sister product called worm tea. You can produce both yourself or you can get them from a local worm farm. The tea helps big time with preventing spider mite and other pests. Anyway just thought I would share that, peace.

Welcome Lord Indica, better late than never lol. Yeah I agree about the worm castings that's why I went with the foxfarms ocean forest soil, it has earthworm castings and a whole mess of other important stuff (composted forest humus and sphagnum peatmoss for holding moisture around roots, pacific northwest sea going fish emulsion, crab meal, shrimp meal, sandy loam, perlite, fossilized bat guano, granite dust, norwegian kelp meal and oyster shell for PH adjustment, to name a few:)). And no additional fertilizers are needed for 30 days from beginning of grow, in my book you can't beat that especially if you're not aware aware of alot of the ingredients for a good grow, I know I didn't know anything really. I am lucky so far with not having to deal with spider mites or any other pest but I will remember the tea for future grows and problems. Thx for sharing bro, much appreciated and again, :welcome:. Stay tuned for wk 4 progress report:Namaste:

:420: Looking forward to it. Better late than never, say it! woot woot!:welldone:

Welcome to wk 4. She's grown a 1/2 in. and the buds are starting to thicken, getting a little frosty and still no signs of problems with the clawing so everything's good.:thumb:. I'm wondering how long till harvest because from the middle down, the triches are turning and the top is still all white. Speaking of tops, the cola so far is at 7 in. and growing. Sure would be nice to rival HashHound's AK cola:adore:. See you next wk for round 5.:Namaste:

WOW! Very nice! I hope my girls look as nice as yours. :goodjob:

Thx for the compliment, much appreciated Lord Indica , this is my first time using cfl's and I'm surprised at how good the buds look, now if the seeds were quality I'd be jumpin for joy but bagseed is great for getting the hang of growing, making mistakes and learning from it. The only downside is you don't know what you'll get from bagseed. If you ever do a journal sub me, there's nothing like watching someone grow .:high-five:

Absolutely! When you topped yours did you do anything different? Did you wait till the 4th branch or did you top earlier? They look great man.:thumb:

Any other pics you can give us? At first I thought powder mold but I think it's something else. I'll keep looking for some answers. relax though it's nothing major, more than likely a deficiency because of the other leaves folding up like they are. You have covered all your majors and minors so maybe a pinch of magnesium if you have not added any epsom salt. Anyone else?
