BID & Spiffy Do It Outdoors! Come Get Dirty With Us!

Well another year so another garden. I started this year by building herb boxes beside the green houses. They are 90" long by 40" wide it took 8 cubic feet of soil along with coco and some of BID's super growing potion. I hope to have pics in the next couple of days.

Cool... this is a fun thread!!

We have blueberries the tomato is in a reusable grocery bag with a hole cut in the bottom. I left the tree in one of the herb beds to insure the herbs in that bed got shade as you can see the other bed gets alot of full sun.

Sorry about the angle of the pictures still using my tab and it sometimes has a mind of its own

Looking great, my blueberries don't even have buds on them yet! OK, so how do get the tomato plant planted like that? ... :hmmmm:

Ok Buck I just took a reusable grocery bag cut an X in the bottom. I took the planet and put it in upside down with the top of the plant coming out the bottom of the bag. Then I just filled the rest of the bag with soil. This way I can hang the tomato can hang from the green house roof and leave more room on the floor. I plan to have a couple more. I have also taken the window planter that BID made last year with the two liter bottles and put strawberries in them so they can hang from the roof as well.

Thank You Spiffy :cheesygrinsmiley:

If you can see her my little baby chicken who has become a pet rather than a egg layer is in the bottom middle of the pic. Her name is Tweetdal she will lay easter eggs they will be green or pink.

a little story about a baby chicken and the human that it loves!
you guys would not believe how much entertainment i have been getting watching this little bird and spiffy, this is a bird of a different feather and the smartest chicken i have ever seen, this bird has separation anxiety every time spiffy leaves little tweedle has a screaming hissy fit! this morning i had to go in the front room where her cage is and talk to her to get her to stop freaking out, funny little thing i see this bird do like she learned how to jump off her feeder so she did so repeatedly till "mama bird" spiffy noticed each time completing a jump and looking back to see if mama saw her amazing feat! the way she runs around in circles jumping when mama gets home,
or how she runs to the corner of her cage when spiffy sits in her chair she leans into mamas finger when she reaches in to pet her!
or how when spiffy goes outside and she darts around jumping and chirping in an attempt to see where mama went. always eager for mama bird to open her cage so she can jump into her lap,
today while spiffy was working in the greenhouses tweedle in tow i witnessed her refusing to stay in the garden box she was put in,only happy if she can be in the box where mama is working ,only eating the green shoots that are plucked and mama approved, this bird has a personality and its clear what human she sees as her mother, she has little interest in other humans, dogs or chickens she has a hotel suite of a cage equipped with water ,feed, thermometer and stuffed toys ,costume jewelry that twinkles and soft absorbent puppy pads to sleep on , its the good life for this little easter chicken, im quite sure there will be more stories, pics and adventures for tweedle and mum spiffy
sorry hon i had to share this oh so cute story of your bird and you:love:

Wow, it is beautiful in here!! You have strawberries already!!! dang

I think Tweetdal sounds like an awesome pet! she is lucky to have Spiffy!

whoa! it says I gotta spread it around before I can give reps, DANG!!!

Ok here we go again. This is what we got done outside of the greenhouses today. My little dog had decided he was going to dig out my herb beds so we added boards so he can't get into them anymore. oh and sorry about the angle of the pics I was using my tab.
