So its been a while since I popped a bean and I finally found all mine when I returned home. But prior came across one that I've never heard of and thinking I lost mine I picked up a pack. Come to find out this bean has won over 40+ Cups/Awards.

Genetics : Black Sugar Rose - Delicious Seeds
Medium : Hydroton / DWC
Nutrients : Currently mixed Left overs

Time line to up to date
3/14 - beans 24 hour soak
3/17 - 1/2-3/4 taproots transplant to rockwool
3/20 - they have emerged removed dome
3/23 - transplant to 6inch bucket nets
3/29 - 2nd set of true leaves seedling no more start day 1 of veg
3/30 - transplant bucket lids from 2.5g buckets to 5gal bucket sites

VEG Week#2 Day#9 WD#2

So my phone broke kinda won't charge so I missed a few days just ended week one of veg and had 5th node coming in and I attempted to "fim" them. Typically when I do it on purpose I end up just topping. Anyways i wish I could have shown you how big the fans had got in just a few days. Doing first reservoir change. Only thing I did different between the two is used GH pH up& down on one and a different brand on the other. Mixing in two separate buckets I got them within .01 of each other . The GH raised my EC/PPM by .03-4 / 15-20 PPM. They will officially now be on one line just for testing purposes. Here are some updated photos minutes before reservoir change. Females name simply Left and Right currently.

That is what a single site sec comes with u can see water level without having to lift the lid and you can top off right thru the top. Yesterday's heat wave really hurt them I know the closet was 98 degeees or higher means water got hot as well. Tryin to get mini split asap.

No response from 420 or teddy why they sponsors and we can't get a discount... Anyways grow is in hold due to implement weather lol. How the Fk do you go from average 50s/20s and the next day it's 81. So that meant it was 85 in the house and a scalding 98 degrees where these girls were they are in the ICU will resume when ac gets installed and or local stores start carrying window units again for temporary fix.

5/15 week # 8 I'll have to get exact starting journals again. So it's been a mess not even a nightmare. Typically in the passed not even typically u had to change reservoir every 7-10 days check pH minimum once daily and I just haven't been able to and I'd never expect nutrients that you never hear anyone using to hold up and buffer so we'll. I believe the longest I went with these guys and I mean not even topping off evaporated water and water that's been taken up was over two weeks. Expected to see dead plants, atleast some discoloration and some dead leaves and a super high pH. Well total opposite even though nearly half of the single site 5 gal dwc's water had been depleted the soultion was still clear and other then Mr doing a bit on defoling site none of what was expected were the results.. PH still with in range actually hadnt moved really anywhere but slightly up which is what you want, ppms either the same or lower which is ideal as well.

Their ready to be come mom's, if I were pheno hunting wouldn't really be a fair comparison because when I went to do reservoir change back before I fell behind I noticed I didn't need to in the second just topped off but at the same time the pH pen was off so not 100% sure if one on left is just shorter and bushier and one on right is faster growing . Or was it stunted do to pH. Either way amazed no discoloration no purpling.

I could go on but you be the judge. They are sexually mature and have been just haven't taken any clones yet. But time to pop some GSC and get started on GSC comparative grow.

5/27 - Well as you can tell many projects going on And I have to say until I try Prescription Blend If I do one in dwc this has to be one of the most stable and dummy proof hydro nutrient lines I have ever tried. Looking back into my personal journal I last did a Rez change 5/14, and then just topped off and adjusted ph on 5/21. If I'm correct I have to double check but this is usually where I'd be flipping a seed after some training as they are on their 1st or 2nd day into week 9 of veg. As you can see fully recovered from root boil. I didn't think they were coming back, they were not visible past the net pot and hydroton. But still no discoloration, dead or dien leaves I'm blow away. As I started in hydro I was having to check pH flux 1-3 times daily and having to top off almost if not daily.

But as I don't currently have any room to flower we will be pulling some clones and making them moms. Not sure if you can but I assume that you can still pheno hunt fem seeds, without flowering all I can tell now is one is a shorter more bushier girl and the other still compact but always taller no matter position under the lamp and a heavier feeder.

Good morning @Bill284 haven't heard from u made ur trek to the NPole yet? My wife mother in and brother in law fly in today. My mom had came in the 18th Tuesday was supposed to leave 19th rescheduled for Friday and then again to leave Sunday lol. She brought my newest buddy "Diesel" (little fkr tyrant) he's awesome thought I didn't sleep much before or have time .. just 3 months old tho at 8 1st litter males were 100+.
