Bruh...you got a lot goin on...and it's ALL GREEN!!!

Stage!!! Yea, man. It helps keep my mind busy. I HAVE to see my girls everyday,it's a must. I've gone over hooking up a drip system over and over again. NOPE can't do it. They need me! let's keep them green too bruh! Appreciate the feedback stage. Thanks for checking in on me. Hey,need some 3kings clones? (J/k I wish there were a trader joe's for clones)She's kinda a finnicky eater, the bud structure is eh.... Popcorn chicken nuggets, oh yea she will pop nanners on ya around week 5-6 from flip.(she's a 9 weeker). If you can tolerate all of that, she will reward you with some fine,tasty,aromatic euphoria. I'm waiting for the clones i took at week 6 to dry and cure a bit. To see how it is. I have a 4-in-1 to run if it's worth it. If not, they'll all meet a horrible fate.

Few days ago i took 12 3kings clones out of the cloner to trash. Couldn't trash them just yet. So I stuck them in an old sherbet container and tap. They were really nitrogen deficient as they rooted and started to grow in the cloner. Lol they've bounced back! Nothing but tap water side lighting from a lamp. They'll stay there until the two clones I took at 6wks get sampled.

Things are starting to shape up in the flower room.

The BDxBB experiment clones are the oldest of the bunch. They will be at week 7 on 2/24. They continue to add pistils, girth,calyxes in swell mode and some smell is starting to become apparent. Usually, I do stem rubs,having diff strains I can't ever nail a smell down to a plant. These clones have almost been mute smell wise.Some pistils turning orange. Yet, new pistilis continue to sprout. Breeder says 9 weeks. So two and counting.Haven't done a trich check yet.,will do so once they hit that 7 week mark. I'm diggin' the veracity at which this cross flowers.
The nondefol'd clone,while being the healthiest leaf wise,is showing the effects of the experimental defoliation. The pics will tell the story.

The BDxBb ModScrog is@5 weeks since flip. Two weeks behind her daughter clones.I'm glad I ran the clones first this time around. Usually it's the other way around,take clones,flower out the mom. It's good to see her future in her clones.

The Pineapple Express ModScrog & Green Crack are @ 3 weeks. Its been 14 days since pistils for the PE and 13 for the GC.

The PE was cleaned up a few days ago and shows no ill effects of the defoliation and trimming of sucker branches. She definitely has more breathing room. She was one of 3 clone moms,that was used,abused and used again. Only up potted once from solo cup into her final pot and root pruned once in four months,about 10 days before flip.Some of the rest of her leaves may not make it to the five finger display, but she will give me what she's got under said conditions and be happy to do soI scrogged her because she asked me to.her sister's, some previously harvested Lst'd PE's werent playing nice and were hogging up veg space. She asked for a fence,I obliged.

Green Crack. Oh My!!!! What a beaut! Not sure what version I have as it was a bean and not a clone,CaliConnection,Hso,or....or...regardless. I'm diggin' this plant! Easy peasy to grow thus far,no fussing. S'posed to be a quick finisher. As little as 45 days up to 60. Ive read some have taken it much earlier and let it go much longer. I know the stem rub smells divine. putridy,citrusy with a mango lime after smell that fades into the nostrils. Some of the lower leaves are dropping off from shading and some of the oldest leaves are either showing cal issues or over spray from feeding.I dunno, I will be cleaning her up. A lil defol and some lolipopping for clones. Only what is deemed a hindrance will go. Also, had about 6 rogue tops that refused to behave.

The last plant to go into flower is the Pineapple Express 9-in-1. IMHO and in my garden,she is a better representation of a healthy Pe going into it's transition into flower. She stretched aprrox. 7" and the side branches want to become apical colas. Yay!! She definitely needs salon treatment. It's way too much foliage on her to be able to flourish in my space.She will also be defol'd & lolipopped for clones.

She also seems to need a shot of nitro. I'll hit her with some BioMarine during tomm's feed.

Last but no least, is the colloidal silver sprayed PE. Today was it's last spray. Was gonna stop yesterday but figured eff it!I pulled about 5 pollen sacs off yesterday. Upon inspection of it today,yup she/he's ready to be sequestered! Pics aren't great,the help left.

Is that an xml 350? How ya like it? Do you think it could realistically light 16sq ft? Or do you think it would be a better fit as a 4x2x7?

What's good Stage?! Thanks for the kudos. Yea, I bought the 150 hps as a rescue mission because I had to send the xml back while in flower. I'm over a 3x3 tray off centered in my 4x4 tent. I was using the hps in that extra side space as a pre/post flower area. It'll be back in use for that reason shortly I'm very happy with the xml FOR NOW and have been for almost 3 years. I keep my plants within18-24". Well,the parts of the plants I want to produce that is. In my experience, I get tighter,denser buds using it for just 3x3'.

Will it cover a 4x4? Sure, it will. Effectively? Eh. Ya just gotta know how much ppfd you'd like to cover a given area. I try to keep at least 500 PPfD across the board being that I am limited to one major source of light. And the spread is rather tight. For a 4x4 this light @ 18-24" from canopy will leave the outer edges in the 250-300 ppfd range. Still good penetration and photon diffusion just not enough ooopmf to get to those lower secondaries to beast up, main colas will be nice. In a Sog,yes 4x4 all the way.I am following Icemud's BM grow. I like the cob lights and am researching diy cob's to add to and eventually replace the xml. I can build two cob bar panel for nearly the same price point.

Also, I must say, the method in which you grow,sog,scrog,lst, pot size,plant count & environment will determine how MUCH you can get out of the xml.I've tried em all and as long as i stay within the confines of the light-to-grow space boundaries,It produces. Also, I haven't tried using the whole 4x4 footprint under this light. So, take my opinions, & findings for what they are. Lol.

To answer your question..."will it cover a 4x4 realistically?" Yes, it will. Depending on the realistic expectations of said grower,style,etc. IMHO, it'll do that4x2x7 8sq ft with no issue at all and your plants will be dense thru and thru. I'm flowering in 9sq ft.

I'm just turning the page into lighting as I do want and need more light for the whole 4x4. So,I'll be building a couple of cree cob bar type panels to go alongside the xml and beast out the footprint!

Mini Flower update- BDxBB only. Clones and ModScrog.The clones are at 7 weeks. The ModScrog is at 5 wks. I took pics on two consecutive days of the 2 liter clones. I swear I could see it growing right before my eyes!

Next up is Green Crack. Stretch is over, and she is starting to build. These next few weeks should be interesting. She is the first and strongest discernible smell when the tent is opened. I moved the BDxBB clones under the hps along with the new arrivals. Green Crack the medium experiment clones x3. I also put the 4-n-1 3Kings pot in flower also. The 3Kings clones that were taken out and set aside in a sherbet cup were trashed. Hated to do it but they were of no use. Like the smoke, that's about all I like of that particular pheno.

I've been running this plant in sog and lst'ing it for so long, I forgot what she looked like all grown out. I know I veg'd these babies about a week too long. This should be an interesting pot to flower out.She took well to her lollipopping and slight defol. I will be defoliating her here and there as well as cleaning up suckers thru stretch. There is a lot of branching as well as huge fans on these girls.
