They look like seeds from a squash or pumpkin. That's pretty kewl!

Way little tiny pumpkin seeds. That micrograph was taken at 1000x mag. I wish I could afford a microscope that sharp at that mag. I still have my Tasco from my youth but the image isn't real good at that magnification. Spore analysis was the final key (of many) in positively identifying mushroom species before DNA mapping came to be, and still is for the amatuer mycelial sleauth.

To me they look like they have images of little solar systems etched in, like maybe that's where they gonna take ya, lol!

each little oval is a spore, 40 or so of them in the photo.
