Hello all,
Because I know this is my first post here on 420mag, I will give a brief introduction. As the name states I'm DrbigBear (of course that's my real name). I have been growing on and off for the last 7 years. I have at minimum 12 grows under my belt. Some great, some not so great. I have learned the bulk of my information from this site to help make me the grower I am today. So I figured it was finally time to make a grow journal for my new grow. I have since moved into a new place that I own thankfully and am getting to do the one thing we all seem to wish we could do. Build a grow from bottom to top with ample space and no budget. I have all ways been a hot cramped closet grower. It is time to spread my wings and fly and let you all join me in the one hobby that all ways seems to draw me, and appease my scientific mind.

IF ANYONE HAS IDEAS OR RESPECTFUL CRITICISM BY ALL MEANS GIVE IT. I can't be expected to do all the thinking here. :)

I built the room in my basment myself complete with secret door and secret magnetic lock, to complete my sealed grow room :) Makes me feel like a bond villian. :blunt:

As previously stated I will be running an general hydroponics aeroflo 60 unit.
The aeroflo unit actually went together with alot of ease. My big butt might have been sweating, but that was my problem. I'm a bear I run hot.
This unit is currently set up and will be running General Hydroponics Flora Series of Nutrients along with Great White Shark mycorrhizae.
I do not need too run a chiller as the water temp does not get about 72f in 12 hours of lights on.
I have run 100% aero units in the past but I liked the Idea of the Aeroflo solely for the fact that if a pump fails, it is not utter destruction in 8 hours. (Hence the not so great grows.)

Over the aeroflo will be 3200 watts of HPS lights.
2 - 1000w AC/DE reflector with Galaxy ballast 240v
2 - 600w SunLightSupply reflector with Lumatek ballast 240v
All four fixtures are hanging a Light rail 5.0 light mover that is 42" on center with 14" of travel from center point. I did some drawings in my cad program and found that 14.5" of movement in either direction will give optimal light coverage.

I will be running C02 at 1200 ppm with a Titan Controls Atlas 8 co2 controller and monitor up until the last 2 weeks of flower. then will be run at 400ppm to keep Co2 from depleting in the room.

I am running a 128 site ez cloner under a t5 4' 8 bulb fluorescent but will only be cloning 64 at a time. just wanted the extra room to grow them large enough to go straight too flower once transferred to the Aerflo.

I am also in the middle of growing my mother of Nirvana's Master Kush out. I got her as a clone from a buddy.
She is currently 1 month from clone but thriving like no other. She lives in a 20 Gallon DWC tub in a 4" net pot with hydroton. I have been topping alot trying to create a bush and it seems to be working. Everybody loves a nice well trimmed bush right?
She sits under a 440w California light works LED
Currently at 800ppm with ph riding the 5.7 line

I am using Blue Lab Guardian ph/tds/temp meters in all resivoirs
Active Air dual hose Air conditioner to cool room only
Ro water that fills 55 Gal barrel

If you have any questions about my set up fire away.

There will be a ton more updates too this but, This is a good start enjoy my room porn. Again if you have a better idea let me know. Your never too old to learn something new from those younger and older than you.

Is this grow still alive?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.
