Well folks, this journal is quickly winding down, I thought we’d try some fem seed production! Those following The Lemonade Stand journal will know I am attempting to do this with gibberellic acid.

Okay here we go!
I am using Hindu Kush clones I have limped along as I was pleasantly surprised with the final product, I wouldn’t mind growing it again in the future, and if this doesn’t work out, I will not be crushed.
I am trying different concentrations of GA3 solution on four branches. 120, 140, 160, and 180ppm solutions have been prepared in order to find any differences with the range of concentrations.

Celt, check my math there if you would, please. I followed your calculations and think that is correct.
Allowed the GA3 to dissolve in 5ml iso alcohol.

Then added 500ml distilled water, and viola!

Here is the donor plant, fun fact: it is a clone of one of my clones!

I am keeping track of which branch gets which concentration with bread ties. Fun fact: these also work great for labeling electrical cords plugged into power bars! (I am guilty of having a maze of cords behind the tv)

Using a plastic bag to protect the rest of the plant from over spray. (And telling myself it is in fact not a spooooky ghost!)

New jewelry reminds me of decorating the Christmas tree....

Here she is freshly sprayed, and set back in in time for lights off!!

Each branch will be sprayed with its concentration once daily for 5 days, then she will be moved to the flower room!!

Neat, what strain are you working on? I looked at STS, CS and ended up going with GA3 as it was easier for me to gather all the components.

Man it is hard to believe the five days have come and gone already, time is going by wayyy too fast!!

She was moved into flower today!

Looks like it did start quite the stretch from the acid applications already.

Get some supports in place for the oncoming stretch! Mine went from about 12" tall to over 4 feet.
