FastBuds 420 Auto Grow - Blue Dream And Blackberry

Day 39 above ground, 13 days flower

I need to remember for the next grow, and not forget like I did this time, to add some dolomite lime to my soil :) be it the light, or something else, I seem to get some calcium or magnesium deficiency every grow, regardless of nutes.

This Blackberry got some cal/mag today, 1ml...may go higher. But she sure is pretty and stacking nicely.

The one Bluedream may be getting some cal/mag as well. A couple of leaves, but it hasn't spread. Filling up too :)

And of course a tent shot...bluedream on left and Blackberry on right

You can add some epsom salts to water and water it in to give them a shot of mag if they need it Tim. I've gone with a tbsp/ gallon in a ten gal pot. It really wakes them up if they want it!

I'll give that a whirl, thanks

day 42 above ground, day 16 Flower

added a little cal/mag to one of the Blackberry and one of the blue dream. Also let them go 2.5 days between watering, really wanted to go 3 but couldn't with scheduling so I'll do another 2.5 days to get back on schedule. The blue dreams really emptied their pots. May up my Bloom feeding and shorten the window.

The Blackberry girls sure smell good and look pretty, even the one with the yellowing leaves.

Well, the cal/mag doesn't seem to be helping and perhaps making things worse. I'm at a loss for why I'm almost always having issues at this stage of flowering with different nutes. Is it my light? Something else?

I decided no more cal/mag. Also decided to shorten the window with Geoflora between feedings, now feeding every 10 days starting today.

The saving grace....last time I grew these autos they were yellow as can be but the bud was as pretty and tasty as can be.

I know from reading the GF Bloom label that the Ca/Mg ratio is completely off (Ca 5% /Mg 0.75%) so I would think that a bit of epsom salt would be a better addition if the leaves start with yellowing between the veins and then getting the brown spots.
I'll put that on the to do list for tomorrow, stone mentioned it too. Thanks!

day 46 above ground, day 20 flower

Added epsom salt to the water for three of the plants showing deficiencies. @StoneOtter how often do I use the epsom.salt?

Yes, lowest it gets is 71 at lights off and highest it gets is 80....but usually 79
Ok that's good! < 64f can give them mag uptake issues.
I think once at this time for epsom Tim. If it was earlier I'd dose them and watch new growth. New growth immediately comes in good and lasts for weeks or longer. It can be different for you so just keep your eyes open. I'm pretty sure you'll be harvested before they need another dose.

Awesome, thanks for the tip and help. They are moving along nicely and starting to swell.

I tried taking some solo pics of the one Blackberry, may need to stage it better but the basement is full of crap....I mean my girlfriend's stuff :)

I did add epsom salt to the other Blue Dream as she's showing very early signs of magnesium deficiency. Also snipped a few leaves from the girls to expose more bud sites. Not too concerned with the yellowing of the other Blue Dream. When I grew them last they certainly yellowed early, matching some images on the breeder website, but the buds were amazing.

Blue dreams on left, Blackberrys on right. The ugly Blackberry seems to have some weight. Breeder site says 1.5-2.5oz yield and I think (hope) she surpasses that mark.

blackberry smells amazing!!! And the Blue Dream are starting to show their aroma too
