FastBuds 420 Auto Grow - Blue Dream And Blackberry

day 54 above ground, 28 days flower

moving along. The blue dreams are yellowing a bit. The same thing happened the last two times I grew this strain, although it started earlier in flower, and the buds turned out amazing. Based on pics on breeder site, I think it's just normal. They all smell great :)

Today was day 11 since the last Bloom feeding and I fed another 2/3 cups. I like feeding a little more, and a little more often, than recommended by Geoflora.

Finally noticed a few lower fans being eaten and falling. I think I'll hit the breeder harvest times right on the money, that's a first for me ha. Unfortunately, I had planned on them taking a bit longer, it's looking like harvest date will coincide with my trip to Japan in late Jan into early Feb. Oh well, just have to harvest them a week late, no biggie. Japan obviously takes priority as it's a trip of a lifetime, paid for in full by my customer who is hosting me on the trip. I can't wait!!!!! Although not getting high for a week will be a struggle :)

day 56 above ground, day 30 flower

I guess I'm officially in late flower? The one Blackberry is showing some amber pistils. Girls are getting 1 gal every other day but the Blue Dream seem way lighter than the Blackberry. I've tried giving more water to Blue Dream the last two waterings, but seems much of it runs off.

Blackberry 2...she's a little ugly, road hard and put up wet, but her buds are great and she's putting on weight. Had to add a few bamboo stakes

I do feel like most of the buds on all are a bit airy if I squeeze, hope they dense up and get harder in the next 30 days. Humidity is 50-53 and Temps 78-80f. If I lower the dehumidifier I can get the tent down to 40-45 but the temp hits 81-82. Trying to straddle the fence as best as possible. I may later in flower lower the humidity and turn the light down a tad in order to keep the temp lower. Currently running 42-51k LUX

Plants look great and Japan sounds exciting! You won't miss a thing!
It will be nice to come home from the trip and plants ready to harvest. I'm stoked about Japan, several in the group speak Japanese and have been there several times before so it will be like a private tour :)

The Blackberrys are pushing out a lot fewer white pistils so my guess it they're coming down first, but still plenty of time to add on all the weight!
How's the government there on weed?
Not all that great:

"While the possession and cultivation of marijuana are already banned in Japan, the country will prohibit its use as well, setting a prison sentence of up to seven years for violation.

Previously, Japan did not penalize cannabis use, partly to protect farmers who may accidentally absorb its substances while growing it for use in hemp products. But it reversed its stance amid growing concerns that the lack of a ban on use is promoting drug abuse by young people."

They did however start the process toward medical cannabis last year.

Not sure but I'm also not planning to find out ha. I'll be leaving everything stateside. It will be my.first week.without weed since I worked at Bank of America almost 20nyears ago ha

I agree, they may be down and dried before the Japan trip. The Blackberry have a little earlier harvest time on the breeder site too. It will be interesting if their tricomes turn amber. The runt I grew last grow, they didn't amber but all got cloudy.

Hey THG!

Ooof the Blue Dream looks sensational and the Blackbery appears to be dank AF, both are just dripping with sugar.

Whoa a free trip to Japan, must be nice to be hooked up with the rich and famous! Just kidding but it sure sounds like trip of lifetime. It would be fun to sample some nugs on a distant shore but yeah defs not worth going to the clink.

travel safe and have a blast!

The Blackberry girls are showing amber pistils that are starting to curl in. I'll have to decide in 9 days to either harvest before the trip with time to hang dry, or harvest after the trip on Feb 4th. I think, and hope, they are ready to harvest by Jan 17th...my cutoff date.

Blue Dreams have a while as they still have mostly white pistils. However, I did scope them for the heck of it and never seen so many amber tricomes with white pistils. No.way she's done this soon as they haven't even swelled yet. It wasn't just one or two buds from say an accidental touch....it was every cola. Interesting.....any ideas?

With 9 days before you have to decide I'd wait for 9 days before deciding! :)

In terms of the early amber, they look much lighter than the usual amber, no? Either way I'd ignore it with all that clear in there.
They do look a little lighter amber. Just strange with so many clear and so many straight white pistils. Hoping they didn't get pollinated somehow from an older grow that had a ton of nanners. I cleaned the tent, fans and everything inside before I started this.grow

Interesting.....the Blue Dream with the white pistils and amber trichs, is now showing alot of amber pistils just two days later. The entire grow.she has been pacing about a week or more behind the other Blue Dream which has all white pistils and no amber trichs.

It almost reminded me of a plant I grew two years ago that got amber pistil and trichs early. Upon harvest I noticed a split down the main trunk and surmised that was the cause of the early ripening. I looked over this plant as well as possible looking for an injury....but not seeing one. It's just interesting.
