Fast Bud 420 Auto Grow

well, it's that time again to do another grow and stop lurking :). Actually, it's early based on my initial calculations from the last harvest. My soon to be fiance is quite the stoner and going through the last harvest more quickly than I thought:)

And shes moving in with me in a few weeks...I'm one happy dude!

The Strains:
due to timing, I'm going auto again for this grow, and all with Fast Buds 420 seeds. Their Bluedreamatic was fantastic in my first two grows when I was totally clueless. Unfortunately, my two left over seeds from 2020 opened in water, neither sprouted when planted so I had to pivot.

The four plants:
Girl Scout Cookies
Blackberry Auto
Two Orange Sherbert (one a week behind due to failure to launch for Blue Dream seeds)

yes, a mix of sativa dominat and indica dominant so we can have some variety before a larger grow next spring.

The Setup:

4'x4'x6.5' tent with 6" AC Infinity fan with temp/humidity controller

Mars Hydro TS3000, 450w @Mars Hydro

Automatic watering system, puts 1 gal into each pot in six minutes and it's on a timer. I plan to hand water for most of the grow, this is for those trips I'll have to take in the next few months.

5 gal. Smart Pots

Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil mixed with 20% perlite. Also added @DYNOMYCO Dynomyco mycorrizhal as instructed.

@GeoFlora Nutrients Veg nutes and Bloom nutes....although expired, giving it a shot since they are autos. The FFOF should help too. Mixed GF in the soil and will top dress, following instructions. Also, will follow the advanced feeding chart after my experiment last grow, terpinnator and massive bloom.

The cure and store:
Grove bags will be used for curing and storing. #NoMasonJars. After a year of storage in the Grove bags....I'm a huge believer.

Seeds were popped in water and planted directly into the t gal pots. I did use some Seedling soil in the center so the babies didn't get the hot FFOF right out of the gate

Three ladies broke the surface on 7/31 and the late comer was 8/10. For the first week they had 5 sprays from a water bottle twice per day as to not over water. After that, they are getting a 10 count from a small water bottle with holes in the cap twice daily, moving the water further from the base of the tiny plants to encourage lateral root growth.

Current LUX reading of 16k-17k

Hope to see old friends and new follow along: @Justin Goody @InTheShed @Emilya Green @StoneOtter @Stunger @GainesvilleGreen @LKABudMan apologies if I missed anyone

Great to see you bro.. glad you are back at it.
Been a crazy few months getting g the house ready for my girl. Painted every room, replaced/painted every door, and cleaned our 20 yrs worth of crap ha

I stumbled upon this grow THG, but I wanna' see! :Rasta:

Absolutely, welcome.aboard! If I recall correctly. Did you grow some Blackberry auto?
Thanks man. And no, I've never grown a Blackberry auto. However, I've been certified to watch them grow!:)

VEG DAY 15

15 days above ground for three, and the late comer is maybe 7.

They are doing well and drinking more each day but still a ways to go before watering to runoff. Of course I'll be gone for four days and they will get a good hand watering before leaving and then the auto water system while I'm gone. No doubt they won't look as good when I return haha.

Looking good Tim! :Rasta:

Day ...I'm not sure ha. This journal will be a little relaxed and casual.

The girls survived the trip and are sprouting thier 4th node. Spacing is tight between each node too. Blackberry Auto is even showing pistils.

I believe they liked getting a little drenched while I was gone and also appreciated some dry time. I think I'm close to watering to runoff.

Day 25 above ground
the other girls are shooting pistils like crazy and are in the middle of growing their 5th node. Hope topping them in a few days doesnt mess them up, but the other nodes aren't large enough to train....a few days they should be large enough.

Raised LUX to 25-26k. May go full blast soon. Added GF Veg and 5ml Terpinator, following thier advanced feed chart. Each received 48oz of water, next watering is drenching the pots.

These autos want to skip to the good part and I don't mind :)

The plants look happy but dat's a lotta boxes! I'm guessing that in 30 days you will still have over 5 to unpack. Anyone want the under?
Not quite a bold prediction Shed. She's just moving in. Unpacking boxes won't likely be tops on their activity list! :)
