slayer thanks dude.and not sure but they are abit heavier than a hps reflector.but not to heavy.as long as there strapped up right there not going anyway.they give off little heat which my plants seem to be enjoying

Yup that was right after I watered. I'm hoping my roots are going crazy down there and the next two days they will be back on track. I have been doing a lot of reading on nirvina NL I I have seen that a lot of them start pretty slow some breads are pretty old but I feel like they are almost passed there Lil slup, and I'm following ATrains advanced feeding schedule and he's made that's work vary well for him. I just had to get my temps wear they needed to be and I have done that. Plus the MH build blows the HPS out a the water for veg. 100% worth the money.

Yep, MH works great but T5HO is another non HPS option. Both daylight at >5000K will keep node spacing tight and allow thick full colas.

They now have HO high output. My 2' bulbs are 24W (100W eq). They also have VHO, very high output. 2' bulbs are 48W (200W eq). VHO gets hotter and pulls as much power as HPS/MH without the intensity.

And Flower. It's a 2', eight bulb 192W (actual) and is ~24"X24". Its a great light for VEG with 8, 6500K bulbs, I also bought 6, 3100K Bloom bulbs. Here is what they are doing in the 6th week of flower on some seeds I found in a bag from the 90's.



You can see that I hang a few CFL's on the outside for side lighting.


This was an experiment to see if I could flower under T5's. I would say it works just fine.

Very. What I've seen is that T5 seems easier on the plants. I have 333W actual in that room, area is under 2x2, well almost. I'm at a much higher watt per sq foot then the tent. 1000W is 62 W/sq' for 4x4. I'm at 82.5W per sq foot in a 2x2 area at 333W. It's a gentle light with not much heat. This is my $160 dorm room grow.

I got the designer series from Hydrofarm used from my local shop for $100 (8 new 6500K bulbs), then I bought 6, bloom bulbs for about $10 each. It seems that there was a run on bloom bulbs. Daylight bulbs are about half the price of bloom bulbs.

Sounds like a awesome low budget grow man I will def look in to a set up like that once I get some more room to grow
