Legal 400W HPS Soil Grow 4 Plants

Did a final trim and moved the northern lights harvest in to jars. The smallest stems are dry enough to "snap" while the larger ones still bend. I'll be burping them 1-2 times per day for the next week.

Starting weight in jars - 162 grams, or 5.75 ounces. Any idea what kind of weight I will finish with following a good cure?

Cheers!

You will end up with roughly 1/4 of the wet weight, once it is dried and cured. Congratulations on the nice harvest!

Picked up a neat little digital microscope for 50 bucks. Here is the Northern Lights I harvested. Looks like about 20% amber trichs on the colas and mostly clear/cloudy on the lower buds. Neat!

Today marks day 62 of flowering. I took a lower branch from the widow for inspection and although the hairs are about 70 percent red, the trichs are all clear or cloudy. I'm thinking it's going to be at least another week. I've also come to the realization that suggested grow times for canuk seeds are totally inaccurate.

Cheers!

Tough decision, for sure. You just don't know who to blame!

If there's a way to have the skywalker clones alone in the flowering tent, then it's not a problem. But if you're going to have other plants flowering at the same time, then you're gambling. And for me at least, keeping a close eye is not realistic. There's just too much hidden vegetation to monitor.

Definitely clean your tent really well before putting more plants into flower. Pollen is microscopic and viable for months.

Would a small amount of bleach mixed into water work to eliminate pollen if I sponged down the inside of the tent each time?

That scope takes great shots!

I harvested the Skywalker kush today (Day 65 of flower). The trichs on the big colas are about 30% amber and the scraggly stuff is fairly cloudy. It has a great distinctive sweet/fruity smell and the scissor hash tastes delish.

I'm really happy with the colas on her. A couple are longer than my forearm and a few others are thicker than coke cans. I'd estimate that the harvest will be 5-6 ounces.

The white widow still isn't ready, more of the hairs are turning orange, but the trichs are all still mostly clear. Shouldn't be long. Hope all is well with your grows. Cheers!

I harvested the white widow today. It was a runt to begin with and gave me more problems than either of the others... but it will likely be the best smoke of the lot. The scissors turned black after trimming and I was left with a big old ball of scissor hash. It also has a ton of frosty trichs all over it. I'm guessing total harvest will be 4-5 ounces.

The Northern Lights final harvest weighed in at 3.75 ounces.
The Skywalker Kush weighed in at 5.4 ounces.

This will be my final post for a while. I'll likely start up a new perpetual grow in the next month or two. I've learned a lot and feel like my second grow can only get better. Many thanks to all who have helped me along the way.

Final results - a little over 3/4 of a pound.

When you read 9 oz it doesn't sound like much until you see it in jars. They look delicious

This harvest has been sitting in Jars for a few months and I can say that the bud has only gotten better with time.

The Skywalker OG is my favorite smoke of the bunch by far - dense and skunky and likely the highest thc content too. A small bowl and I'm ready for bed in no time. I still have 4 beans and will be planting more once my current grow is done for sure. I wound up taking the momma plant and moving it outdoors. Currently 4 feet tall and bushy as a mofo.

In a strong second is the Northern Lights - ultra smooth on the lungs and looks really pretty in the jar. It's a great daytime smoke and the guys on my fishing trip really enjoyed it.

And finally the White Widow... some pretty decent mids really. The buds are the densest, yet don't have the frosty look white widow is known for. It doesn't smoke as smoothly as the others either, and I'm thinking I'll end up making edibles with most of it. My partner has taken to making weed treats and I enjoy a good cake pop or peanut butter cup from time to time :yummy:

I'm currently growing Reserva Privada Sour Diesel in Coco using organic dry amendments using Mr. Canuk's method. Check him out on Youtube if you're not familiar. The link for my second grow is in my signature if you're interested in following that one. Cheers!

You will be good for four weeks without adding nutrients. Most will advise you to start out at 25% and see how they respond. Which is good advice. I've found that starting out at 50% with the Fox farms nutrients is a good starting place. My current grow i didn't feed for three weeks and then started at 50%. I since have been feeding at 100% and they have responded well. I now veg my plants under the LED lights while I flower under the hps light only because I wanted to start growing a perpetual garden. I don't have any experience with other brand nutrients so I can't comment on them. You can take a look at my journals linked to my signature and see the results I've been having.
Exactly the way I have done a number of grows. I veg under a 400W LED close to the top of the canopy. then at about 2' tall I put them under HPS. I only have a 27 X 27 tent so I usually grow 2 at a time. but feeding the same thing first mixed water they get is at about 2 weeks and that is a 50% mix. That is the best way just incase there is a problem with the plants response, that can happen.
