It's like they do in the way, way south... cause life threatening damage pushing the plant into overdrive. The fight or flight genes kick in, flowers swell more and produce more resins.

She was a stick for months and then she just started really taking off

First thought that pops into my brain bucket straight thinks! Wholly Smokes that's some impressive skills growing from a reveged plant!! 
Thank you so much, I literally had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Took all the advice tid bit by tid bit I could and here she is. She has been my most impressive grow so far just cause she was a total learning experience from scratch. I pulled her very last bottom budded branch on her final and 3rd round of harvesting and prayed lolThat from a reveged bud!?
