Multi Strain Perpetual Grow

Hello everyone.

I am starting a long overdue perpetual grow. My first seed went in the soil August 1st, 2020. Since than, I have learned a lot, I made many mistakes, I even failed at my first journal.
My grow space and my plants have also multiplied and I didn't quite know where to start. So, I will start at the beginning and try not to bore you too much.

I grow in my basement, which is also my garage. It was one big room.
I have built two separate rooms. 8x10 for flowering and 2x4, under the stairs for vegging. At least that was my original intention, but......things evolve.

I have since added two tents, a 4x4, and a 2.5x2.5. I am still playing musical tents and trying to achieve growing utopia.

Grow medium: Soil. currently using FFHF
Nutrients: General Organic veg and bloom line
Pest control and prevention: SNS 217 and SNS 209, Diatomaceous Earth, Mosquito bits, yellow sticky pads.
Lights: LED 1050 W in 8x10 room, 400W in 2x4 room, 420W in 4x4 tent, 100W in 2.5x2.5
Ventilation: 6" inline fan and carbon filter vented outside in 8x10 room.
6" duct booster fan venting 2x4 room into 8x10
6" inline fan and carbon filter in 4x4 tent venting into basement
6 " duct booster fan in 2.5x2.5 venting into basement
I have another inline fan and carbon filter that I just set up in the middle of the basement to keep the smell down when I am drying or trimming.
Assorted fans hygrometers, thermometers.

Strains currently growing:
Northern Lights, Sour Diesel Auto.
Girlscout Cookies/Jack Herrer, Grandaddy Purple, Jack Herrer photoperiod from seed.
Amnesia Haze photoperiod clones

Construction phase

8x10 room. ( there is more on the left)

2x4 room ( more room on the side under the stairs)

Currently 7 autos in 8x10room, and 3 photos vegging

4x4 tent 4 photoperiods in flower ( week 4)

2.5x2.5 tent 1 photoperiod in flower ( week 4)

2x4 room 4 photoperiods vegging

I am finally taking a break from trimming, and I will take this opportunity to update you.

This is my first auto She is a Northern Lights , day 56 in flower. She had a few deficiencies, but the buds are growing nicely. I am also learning to train the autos better. She had water yesterday.

Here is one of the Sour Diesel autos. I'm still not doing a great job training

The Blueberry Kush photoperiod is flowering all alone. This is a clone. Her mother hermied and caused me a lot of headaches. I'm not taking any chances with her.

In the Photoperiod tent the 4 Amnesia Haze are doing their thing

Strawberry Kush, Jack Herrer, Girlscout cookies in different stages of vegging. Tomorrow will take cuttings from the Strawberry Kush. ( back left corner), than I will show you where the cloning space is. Got to use every nook and cranny.

You are correct. I'm hooked.
I am also fascinated by all the different strains. I know it would be easier to grow just one or two, but this is more fun.
It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.

You are so right about your analogy of different strains is like a box of chocolates. I usually put around 10 - 15 plants which makes up 5 or 6 different strains every year, and then there are the freebee's to get rid of as well.

Well, the truth is: I could have built closets. I do need them.
Instead I built grow rooms.
A girl has to have her priority straight, you know.

I dropped the ball on the training on her. At least she's happy

I think I topped this one. I was afraid to, but had to try it out.

I am doing some light defoliation every few days

My LST training needs work.

Oh yes. Please hang around.
Last year I only had two rooms and I used an oil filled heater in each.
It's very expensive, and they were sucking up 1500 watts of my dedicated 20 Amp per room circuit.
So...
This year I installed a ventless gas heater in the middle of the area. 30,000 BTU. ( A licensed plumber installed it).
I am hoping it will also heat the rooms, not just the tents. This is part of the reason I am growing autos. The basement is pretty dark, but if I have to, I can leave the doors open because they are not sensitive to light leaks.

The reason I ask, is most garages in the north tend to get a little cold this time of year.

I don't grow in my garage, but I put in a gas vent-less heater in, and it keeping it on the lowest setting, is a stable 65 degrees.
